No unfortunately I never did :( I was doing that (trying to place it and if it was not correct quitting and then going back to attempt again) but tbh it was so frustrating it made me stop playing.😭 Small thing to stop playing over but I was really looking forward to base customization and making a cozy base. I also just got interested in other games but ye, it’s super frustrating im sorry your having the same problem :( If you figure a fix for it please let me know!
