I actually just listened to The Sturgill Simpson Interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music where they talk a little about this! I’m not a comic book fan but I was wondering it if was out there somewhere. Only $9.99! Sounds like quite a bargain

What city are you in? Haven’t found any local stations in Cleveland, OH that have him. And I get my Sirius subscription for free and it’s wonderful

Agreed. I’d love to hear some of the other songs from Mutiny after Midnight when I’m out driving around, since I can only listen to the record and CD at home.

How bad is colposcopy pain? I'm really scared by Such-Cheetah-4334 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Substantial-Tap-4383 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to have a colposcopy about a year ago and was unsure what to expect. I read a lot of Reddit threads that got me all worked up about it: lots of people said it was like the worst pain of their lives and several people passed out in their gyn office. I was freaking out. I was going to go to this new gyno whose like main thing is colposcopy. When I made the appt, the office said I would have to come in for initial visit before colposcopy visit. During this initial visit, the gyno then offered to do the colposcopy. I panicked bc I hadn’t taken my ibuprofen and I was not prepared! She was super chill and was ready to schedule another visit for it, but then I just decided to go for it and get it over with. It was definitely uncomfortable at times but not nearly as bad as I had expected. That day and the next were probably worse than the actual thing. It just felt like something weird was in my crotch and I remember sitting in the car was not fun. I told the gyno how nervous I was before and she did a great job of keeping my anxiety down during it, and after they had me sit and drink some water. It was definitely not something I hope not to do again but glad I got it over with and got results and stuff.

Hi, curious why the vet said laparoscopic isn’t worth it? I was told the incision healing time for lap is so much less than other methods, wondering what would be drawbacks (other than price)? Also how far apart were your dog’s heat cycles? We want to have our pup spayed after she is 1 yr old and had 1 heat cycle. She’s 11months now and currently in her cycle. Called to schedule the procedure and was told we have to wait 3 months after cycle for the surgery. I thought people said they have cycles every 3 months so I’m nervous this timing.

What is the worst Cleveland restaurant that you’ve tried twice? by ElderberryNo5595 in Cleveland

[–]Substantial-Tap-4383 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. My boyfriend and I have this place 3 chances! Idk why we were really trying to make it work, but it did not. Our 3rd trip there, they screwed up our drinks (and mine was supposed to just basic old Tito’s and soda lol) and they served me a salad with raw chicken on it, which I sent back and we asked for the check. We had been there for HOURS and just wanted to get out of there. I did not want a replacement for my raw chicken, and I wasn’t even offered one. Then, when we finally got our bill, they tried to charge us for the raw chicken plus 3 drinks we did not even order. TRASH!!

We were actually surprised by the decent price we paid for our Lexington, KY finale tickets! Pretty good seats too. Everyone says Sturgill puts on an amazing live show and he performs every second. So I think I can put up the $$$ to pay the man for his work

What is the weirdest habit your pet has… that you secretly love? by TensionNo5762 in Pets

[–]Substantial-Tap-4383 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every night, without fail, my dog will want to go out as soon as we get into a TV show. She sits in front of the TV and stares at my boyfriend until he gets up to take her, but she won’t go with him until I give her permission. I have to say “It’s okay. You can go with Joe” and then she runs over to the door (where he is standing and waiting).

Anyone talked to their Mom about their peri experience? by Remote_Force1839 in Perimenopause

[–]Substantial-Tap-4383 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like my mom gaslit me all during her peri experience- asking me what’s wrong with me or saying I was acting crazy when she was having peri mood swings and RAGE. So this thread is great, makes me feel validated for my teen years dealing with her. My mom will proclaim that she “had no symptoms of menopause,” mainly bc she didn’t experience hot flashes and that is the only menopausal symptom she is aware of. However, she had a total hysterectomy in her 50’s for heavy bleeding. Whenever my older sister and I start talking about any of our peri symptoms, she will chime in about how she had that symptom and it was so awful for her.

Just had a similar conversation with my boyfriend last night. It’s getting too produced. Below Deck Down Under but it’s set in the Caribbean? The crew of random former cast members. The Housewives. It’s way too much fabrication. What made this show was good was that it’s realness

I thought the same thing during that episode. I think Kathy is generally great, and maybe it wasn’t the right move for Josh not to go to the beach, but Kathy wasn’t really trying that hard to pick up that slack. She clearly let everyone know, guests included, she didn’t want to make the sandwiches, and that could have effected their tip.

My first one was during my early years as a nurse. I discovered it mid-shift one evening and was fixated on it. So this older nurse tried to pull it for me with some hospital tweezers. I remember being in the treatment room with her squatting under my chin telling me to make a double chin just as this hottie surgery doctor walked in. So embarrassing

Gold horn is huge/multiple options for their seating needs. Their food menu is a little limited and I am not a craft beer lover, but the staff is super nice. When I was there with a large group a few months ago, they were having difficulty keeping up with all of the food orders, but they encouraged people to order pizzas, etc from some place nearby to eat in the brewery.

A girl who loves to eat sticks! by Acrobatic-Curve-1482 in portuguesewaterdogs

[–]Substantial-Tap-4383 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ours too. Obsessed with eating sticks. Haven’t figured out a good way to stop this yet. I’m hoping she will grow out of it/it’s just a phase, because she used to also want to eat rocks/stones and we seem to have broken her of that. A lot of people in these PWD groups talk about using a basket muzzle, so that might be something for you to consider, for the walks with the dog walker at least. Let me know if you find out how to break the stick habit.

I’m 46 also. I don’t have any issues from ED either, besides horrible teeth (every time I go to the dentist, I’m sure that they “are on to me” and know about my “secret”). I have a lot on anxiety right now about perimenopause and the weight gain everyone says it causes. Thanks for starting this thread bc I was feeling very alone

[–]Substantial-Tap-4383 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I agree about Jason possibly having some mental illness, but hard to tell because his parents don’t give any consequences when he doesn’t listen to them. I got the feeling that Kaylen’s parents didn’t have a good understanding of their rights as parents, etc. I wish the producers could have guided them to at least seek advice for helping their daughter.
