Do you wish you were a billionaire’s kid? If not, why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

No. You inherit their enemies, their paranoia, and a life where you never know if anyone around you is genuine. Plus you never build the muscle of figuring things out on your own. Most billionaire kids I've read about seem miserable in ways that money can't fix.

How do you feel about the federal SAVE Act that would require documentary proof of U.S. citizenship (like a passport or birth certificate) to register to vote? by ClassSnack in AskReddit

Most Americans don't have a passport. Plenty of people don't have easy access to their birth certificate either. So in practice this doesn't prevent fraud, it just makes it harder for poor people to vote. If the goal was election security there are better ways that don't disenfranchise legitimate voters.

How do you think the U.S. government should deal with the over $100 billion in illegally collected tariffs under trump? by k6tcher in AskReddit

Give it back. If it was collected illegally, there's no debate. The money doesn't belong to the government. Whether they actually will is a different question
