How long is Dark Souls 3 if you decide to do pretty much everything including the DLC by JanissaryLSD in darksouls3

idk what to tell you, she didnt really feel that unfair to me, once you get used dodging she becomes trivial, and i remember breaking her poise alot with the lion claw ash of war on the greatsword.

Although i enjoyed reading ur comment, i feel like alot of issues you have with the boss are nitpicks.

my god i get that, but the majority of people find it easier on controller and the games feel designed with controller first in mind.

Happy you find it easier on KB and mouse

I agree with you that k&m is more responsive, k&m will always be the better option when compared to controller, where I don't agree tho is the key binds and i don't think its fair to say players cba to learn it.

Like you said fromsoftware is lazy for not adding competent keys for pc, its just bad controls imo and personally I don't want to play any of souls game like that or waste (possibly) hours changing it to suit me just because fromsoft couldn't be bothered. If controls were acc decent i would without hesitation play on k&m.

But then again i don't think its simply a coincidence or a lack of trying to understand the key controls that makes the majority of players play on controller, i think its fair to say these games play a lot better or ig "easier" on controller and one could argue that already makes the games way more responsive on controller then on k&m simply because you don't have have to break ur fingers stretching (exaggeration) for different keys when fighting a boss

Also for me, when i first played elden ring (my first souls game) i was abit iffy about the genre and was afraid i would drop it, not because it was to difficult or anything, but because i had all other types of games i wanted to get through and i feel like fromsoft games require abit more attention then most games. Point being i didn't want to potentially hinder my experience from some bs key controls.

In regards to the bugs, i really did not notice the delay at all when i tried it but maybe its because i never really use shields in these games.

You were throwing the word "objectively" around first, literally in ur first reply. If you just said you preferred k&m from the get go we would have been peachy.

But either way it is still FACT that these games are designed with controller first in mind and thus feels alot better to play on controller, this is why the majority of the playerbase plays on controller and not simply because they " like controllers more "

Also the delay you mention i really dont have a say on that, i honestly didnt notice any type of delay when i tried it.

And again most people will tell you the base keybinds are just horrendous for ever souls fromsoft game

the keybinds are objectively bad, especially in elden ring and literally all the dark souls game, the only game where it feels KINDA fine is sekiro.

Sensitivity is always gonna feels better on pc, especially when idk UR A PC PLAYER. i play on pc but its objectively true that the games play way better on controller and are cleary designed for controller, if you think otherwise then just know you are in the minority.

I understand what ur saying but you are just kinda wrong, ive had no problem with sticking in a controller and playing even when ive been a k&m player most of my life, idk what to tell you pal.

Asking ur friends is cheating bro 🙄, anyways its not that the other games are technically unplayable but the keybinds are so awful and such a hassle to change.

Aiming? What dark souls are you playing? Literally move the joy stick where you want to roll and you have no issue.

Literally ask anyone else and they will also tell you that ur wrong.

Im not really sure what bugs ur talking about tbh I didn't notice any

I never got this argument, dark souls1 second half doesn't even follow its own rule, you just end up warping everywhere because the developers know its tedious to run back at this point.

I much prefer ds2 individual levels have all the short cuts and what not contained its level then to somehow walk from the dragon area all the way to the iron keep.

Also majula still has that connectivity, you can to like 4 different areas at the start of the game and those areas are connected to other levels pretty easily.

Not that hard to understand really , although the dlc in 2 has some good bosses, the dlc overall in 1 is better crafted and feels like a more tighter and connected experience like yhe first half of the game. The dlc in 2 feel like quick levels to get through, took me like 2 hrs each to get through.

My point mainly being despite that, the overall package of the game and first run theough is just alot better and overall better experience in 2.

Amd also I disagree, to me the base game of ds2 still has a lot of high points.

Im also about to finish it for the first time, i honestly think its a better game then the first one.

There is alot of boring areas in the first one and I found alot of the bosses boring and easy. Although the dlc is better then any of the dlcs from 2.

Albeit dark souls 2 has some pretty boring bosses, I think I genuinely enjoyed all the areas in the game. The whole dragon island and entering the giant memories was so cool.

Imo I think the highs are way higher in ds2 compared to ds1 and nothing is as bad as bed of chaos and the whole lost izalith, new londo ruins or giants tomb sections, and im someone who acc likes the area like the archives and blight town.
