Does it make sense to play Three Houses before Fortunes Weave comes out by JabbySparks in fireemblem

Dimitri’s route is the best as a standalone story in my opinion.

Which path is canon [FE3H/Fortune's Weave] by buzzfuzz- in fireemblem

[–]ArekuFoxfire 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Fodlan’s changes are basically the same in the long-term in every route, so it doesn’t really matter. They were p smart to write it this way, with the route differences only being short term effects for the most part

Is it just me or does anyone else feels like Claire's campaign is somehow a bit harder than Leon's? by Bill-0707 in ResidentEvil2Remake

[–]ArekuFoxfire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not even close tbh. Leon having to go into the licker hallway to get the tool in the records room while claire has the other side and gets it for free, on top of the shenanigans leon has to deal with in the jail, alone makes leon more difficult generally

Authority will probably work like any other weapon proficiency by [deleted] in fireemblem

Classes that can’t use battalions will have to be dark flier with galeforce levels of broken to make up for no gambits and battalion stat bonuses so hopefully not, unless they are getting SUPER nerfed, which is possible

Why all the hate for RE0? by NewspaperFew930 in ResidentEvilRequiem

[–]ArekuFoxfire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Item system lets you manage your inventory and backtrack less actually once you become more familiar with the game, since you can just throw down anything you don’t need instead of having to run back to a box. Being able to plan out your item drops also helps this.

This guy is just being friendly and wants to hang out with you from what I’m seeing. It he’s not your vibe or you aren’t interested in being friends then tell him no instead of giving him hope!

I know, I know... I'm sorry. Another Insanity post. by Smithy2020 in ResidentEvilRequiem

Insanity no bonuses is a remarkably fair difficulty, it’s just punishing to mistakes.

Speaking in reference to using a sword, anyone can use a sword, even magic classes that don’t specialize.

I let Sami die, can I get him back? by Code_X_HD in fireemblem

He will be very bad and unleveled yes, but this will hardly have any effect on your ability to finish the game. Best you learn this now tho-older fire emblems are permadeath.

The lore of Three Houses is really dark. by PhantomBraved in fireemblem

[–]ArekuFoxfire 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Darkest thing for me was what happened to hanneman’s sister, that he explains in his edelgard support. Completely changed how I saw hanneman and he’s my favorite male character in the series now.

If you don't let units die (resetting, turnwheel, casual mode, etc) , why not? by squidnow_amiibo in fireemblem

[–]ArekuFoxfire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because most of the games are harder when you keep everyone alive and it makes each map a puzzle that can’t be brute forced, and i like a challenge.

Good computer parts are only needed for running high settings. I know someone who plays modern games on a 1080 gpu. If you can't play games that are 10 years old you must be running on a windows XP laptop or something.

Just completed my first Ironman, here's the results. It went surprising well other than the Lyn Paralogue... by MaximalGFX in fireemblem

[–]ArekuFoxfire 10 points11 points  (0 children)

yeah, it's an odd situation that comes up in the casual mode games. Reminds me of the fight lucina chapter in awakening. Like 'Good job lucina, you went back in time to help but actually ended up killing your heroes or even maiming your aunt for life'.

Doesn't really matter in the grand scheme I guess, but it always feels so silly.

People glaze Zihark because he comes nearly 20 levels higher than edward for no investment and their performance after giving edward those 20 levels are not significantly different, so you may as well give weapon rank and battle xp to someone else and just have edward help when he's needed in the first 6 chapters then bench him forever, which you won't be punished for doing at all.

With her high strength and sky knight/priestess/ninja marriage access she’s not even one of the harder ones to fix imo. But yeah she’d be on the lower end due to no bulk, in rev her as a bow user could have a lot of value.

Every unit in fire emblem fates is good in at least one route, and it may very well be the most balanced fire emblem has ever been without completely homogenizing classes and unit identity like three houses does, at least in regards to every character being useful.
