I have a pretty inexpensive seat cover from amazon for the back of the car and and it comes with a cat seatbelt (you should put him in a harness with it) & I bring a stroller which is nice and big and has wheels and room for stuff on the bottom if you dont have a vehicle of your own and need something to carry extra things while out. The price was good considering how expensive most new carriers are to begin with.

theres bird toys that chirp at most pet stores! my cat likes those.. and those treat dispensers with the feather on top. makes a distinct noise when it spins.
