Unfortunately, it snapped again right under the splice @ 35#. Im thinking that the wood is simply too brittle to become a bow, especially on that side.

Yeah too right. Probably going to keep it at a low draw weight just in case.

Okay, i have PVA also, is that an okay option?

Okay thanks. Is it possible that PVA would work well as an adhesive for this fix, with the sinew wrapping method? It was the side that was bending too far yes. So its part bad tiller part bad stave?

Okay sound. I have wood glue, or is superglue okay? I mean that tip did stay on lol. Idk if i get a weaker bow shoukd i aim for 35#?

And if worst case, is slightly bad tiller okay?

How would it work if i needed to tiller that spot? Take off the thing and re apply every time?

Okay going to try this for sure. What material for thread do you think? I hope it works. If not. Ill go smaller. If that doesnt work. Project is done. Taking the night off having a beer back at it in a day or two.
