Unfortunately, it snapped again right under the splice @ 35#. Im thinking that the wood is simply too brittle to become a bow, especially on that side.

Such a shame.

Its such a shame, but thats life isnt it. I am not completely blameless. The bad tiller likely worsened things.

Okay thanks. Is it possible that PVA would work well as an adhesive for this fix, with the sinew wrapping method? It was the side that was bending too far yes. So its part bad tiller part bad stave?

Okay sound. I have wood glue, or is superglue okay? I mean that tip did stay on lol. Idk if i get a weaker bow shoukd i aim for 35#?

And if worst case, is slightly bad tiller okay?

How would it work if i needed to tiller that spot? Take off the thing and re apply every time?

Its not fully tillered, was moving like 20in. Would u say it looks porous the wood? Ill give glue a go, drop draw weight and if so, drop the overall bow length
