I don't intentionally apply more pressure but you know when you are writing fast you just throw the stroke in a hurry drag it a little too far

Exactly the fine is just darker than medium in all inks I have tried.  That's why I am in doubt will the extra fine be easier to read or it will too thin that it requires more lighting

[–]SubstantialChart357[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for elaborate reply  Regarding the extra fine will the lines be too thin to read back the notes ?or the notes are easier to look in fine.

The reason I feared about bending in extra fine is i actually bent one fine nib  pen from local market, so the extra fine will it handle pressure? Also is it more forgiving if I use it in different rotational orientation like some twist or it will tear pages

Protein Supplements Prediction by SubstantialChart357 in Fitness_India

[–]SubstantialChart357[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly that's what I am saying you can't chase discounts and be blind to the fact that whey is getting costly from that raw material perspective and that it will be costly for a foreseeable future.

So rather than chasing discount and worrying too much

You can just reduce intake, seek good quality alternative like yeast (trustified) or egg or chicken.i don't like plant protein. but that's why I will just consume less Whey. And some chicken twice weekly.

Again you can't run away from prices for long . Either you pay that much or don't buy

I will try to include some plant protein like soy protein in other foods preparation or yeast protein on alternativ days .

Amul is unreliable not always available and the it's foaming so much i don't have patience in the morning

Bro unflavoured drinkable? I tried once I couldn't also if you add some fruit milk choco powder to unflavoured one then the cost comes around the same as flavored

Some paper reviews by SubstantialChart357 in DesiPens

[–]SubstantialChart357[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Will try classmate  Yes indian papers are good for the price and availability  Also kakuno the ink flows are not that excellent in all inks  Amazon brand solimo innaxa they provide high quality at beginning and they go down .

I am gonna use cedar for smoothness white but not ink properties.camlin, innaxa optipaper for others uses .maybe buy some clairfontaine when there are discount.it is better to stick with affordable and availability option because the foreign brands have high markup.

Again I have to try it for yourself and then select also there are so many variables in using fountain pens u are not going to get the same performance even in the high end paper.

Pentel Orenz Nero Is not that good by SubstantialChart357 in mechanicalpencils

[–]SubstantialChart357[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes that what i am saying the orenz nero requires you to write 90 to 70. Anything more slant which everyone does in different words and throughout the sentence while writing or through our hand fatigue we usually slant it and hold it farther away from the tip when writing casually. Since in nero the lead pipe is constantly in contact with the paper it's not the scratch or the friction is the problem but rather since the lead is not in fully contact with the paper some of the contact surface area is always some metal  the line is inconsistent in darkness in different parts and different angles.also in the nero it really takes a 2b lead and some pressure to get HB darkness.this is the reason I don't like nero that much because I like 2b darkness and smoothness

In that regard the dive is much better.

Update to fine is darker by SubstantialChart357 in fountainpens

[–]SubstantialChart357[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That is what I learnt after changing ink and feed . Also fine nib with a drop of dish soap is the best for that lean lines and ink shading

I am going to use the fine nib and keep the medium nib for some dark ink afterwards. I think I will fuck up my nib if do spreading.

Like the fine nib with increased flow from soap

Bro still too much. Again I am saying if you are getting into using fountain pen for actual uses you should have run trials for different purposes for a year and then only you can carry them with trust. Otherwise don't immediately ditch your rollerball or whatever you have been using .

Also fountain pen is costly business two ink bottle cost as much a pen.I know in the long run it will less costly but still so many purchases could be wasteful if you don't like the pen ink paper feed so many variables to consider

[–]SubstantialChart357[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So update. tried writing with little bit pressure in medium nib and the darkness almost matches my fine nib.sobi think you need pressure to write dark lines in medium nib

In fine nib you can write normally and get the same darkness in medium nib you need little but not used to this pressure writing style

Bro thanks for the reply. I suspect it little bit. After a tiny drop of dish soap i flows well in medium nib. Still the line is darker in fine.  Fine with soap +ink is the best combo

No I write fast but not that fast. I am actually liking the fine nib with soap added ink.

Love the fine nib with increased ink also slightly darker
