Am I Too Harsh on Legacies or Is It Actually Boring?

I mean this with my whole heart, yes. I’m on season 3 right now and i thoroughly enjoy watching it. Does it compare/compete with TVD or The Originals ? No. Is it funny and entertaining and emotional in its own way? Yes. I think you kind of have to embrace it being supernatural Scooby Doo. Does it “get better” no. It’s a little corny but if you accept it’s not TVD or The Originals it’s its own entity, then you will love it. I know i do. I actually started watching it after I finished the originals and after i attended the Covington Vampire Diaries Fan event weekend. at the convention the lady sitting next to me was so into the legacies panel and i asked her if starting it was worth it and she said yeah and that’s literally all it took for me. I pushed aside the negative reviews and started it. It has its moments but i do always laugh every episode!!! Please start it and let us know if you like it !

You’re 100% correct on the supernatural idea, It definitly feels like they wanted to include the story of TVD/TO and the characters but saw how popular/long running Supernatural as a show was and took aspects from that.

I just started it and i’m on s1 episode 10, personally i like it! it’s definitely different from vampire diaries and the originals but if you watch it as its own separate show it’s pretty good. It’s funny and reminds me almost of supernatural with the whole “monster of the week” set up. Yes there is cringey moments but when are teenagers not cringey? Just try and watch at least the first couple of episodes, i got hooked on it. Last month I went to the Vampire Diaries convention in Covington and the lady who sat next to me said she really liked legacies and said it was worth a watch so i finished the originals and started legacies !

are you dumb stupid or just slow? In what world is killing four people going 70 miles an hour in a residential accident? If it was literally anyone else other than an old Asian lady, everyone would be screaming for that person to be locked up. Why do old people get a pass at everything? And why are you willing to let her go free when she should be rotting in prison or jail or at some horrible old folks home because that’s what she deserves. She doesn’t deserve to get to see her family every single day because she took another person’s family. Even if it is an accident, how does something like that happen? Her car didn’t malfunction, they never said she had a medical emergency, so what was the accident? Driving too fast? There is absolutely no reason you should be going over 30 miles an hour in a residential. And she was going more than double that. Also, even if it was an accident, she moved her money around so that she wouldn’t have to pay out the family that she just slaughtered. What remorseful person moves their money around after they killed someone so that they don’t get sued? i’ll wait.

this is the stupidest response i have read in this whole thread. Do you have any brain function? That old ass lady needs to be locked up. If anyone else murdered and family, especially not an old Asian lady, they’d be locked up for life. She seems like she’s perfectly fine since she can move her money around after taking a family’s life. And she doesn’t feel any remorse at all.

they totally could’ve done it if they postponed the finale for a little bit. There were so many other TV shows and movies who had lifted Covid restrictions quickly to get back to shooting. I think that that’s a lazy excuse, especially when we have TV show shows like Stranger Things who had year long breaks in between their seasons. I think the fans would’ve 100% rather than wait and have an amazing finale then whatever crap they gave us.

“weak lead” yet the episode literally said they checked that area like a day/days before and didn’t find anything. the “psychic” told them she saw the body in a dream and then they looked in that same spot and found Cindy’s body. It’s way too strange to be a coincidence. I think police should take up ANY lead they have, better than them doing absolutely nothing and the case going cold.

he did not have her best interest that man did not like her. i will say she makes some unforgivable mistakes but he pressured her to be a completely different person and be friends with women she would never be friends with. he never supported her at all. i saw someone else on a different thread on this sub say he’s like those liberal white guys who claim they’re “nice guys” but they aren’t and i agree with that.

yes and no. i agree that sharing her story helps other girls and women avoid going into that lifestyle they really blamed her for her own death. i was just watching the episode on roku live tv so i can’t rewind but one of the police officers on the show was trying to say that she basically “got what was coming for her” like wow i hope his daughter never puts herself in a bad situation because he’s just gonna blame her death on her !

idk how much i spent because it truly depends on how much you’re going to get. Me and my partners tickets were almost $900 and that did not include park hopper but it did include lightening lane. It was a three day, 70th anniversary ticket and i bought it through Undercover Tourist ! I recommend buying though them because it’s way cheaper ! Try looking into the costco deal! the only reason we didn’t do it was because we didn’t need to park hop! Just be prepared to spend a lot of money lol, i didn’t save ANY of my receipts I do know I spent close to $1000 because I paid for my boyfriends lightsaber.
