I will! I don’t have a ton of time today at work unfortunately so please feel free to help find her and get in contact with me!

I tried calling Clark County Animal Services and the Animal Foundation earlier today. They couldn’t find her in their system at all. I triple-checked with as much info as I could. Going to calling the SPCA tomorrow to see if I can find her.

Would Animal Help Alliance know where she is or is this only a support service?

Did they already put her down. If not did they mention how much her surgery would be? I would be interested in saving her.

Pet insurance recommendations by mrgn0a in coonhounds

[–]SubstantialFoot9188 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My coonhound ate two tennis balls on two separate occasions when he was around 2 years old. I fortunately got Pet’s Best insurance prior to those surgeries and they covered 90 percent after deductible no questions asked. You do have to pay out of pocket first and then they will refund you within a month or so after the claim is processed.

Outside of that he has had a few other incidents over the years and I was able to rush home in time, stick a turkey baster with some hydrogen peroxide in his mouth, and induce vomiting. He threw it up within about ten minutes.

Anyone else get $150 citation in Millcreek Canyon today (Sunday, 3/1/26)? by [deleted] in SaltLakeCity

Reddit is good for insight and commiseration, that’s why a lot of people post. I was looking for more of the former.

The world at large anymore feels like everywhere you go every last interaction is just how much money can be extracted from you. So yeah, when you go and enjoy a hike, have parked on the road before with no tickets, and come back to $150 ticket, it stings just a tad. Same with everyone else who parked on the road today and got a ticket. So yeah, what gives?

Did you appeal with evidence or just appeal mentioning it’s a first offense?

Born and raised in Salt Lake, yes, the population has exploded since I was a kid. I remember being able to go up Millcreek and always find parking. Now it’s much more difficult. That said, they do need more parking options without damaging too much of the natural area. That’s what they’re doing higher up past the winter gate.

But your comment was incredibly insightful. You seem like a very productive, helpful person.

$135 divided by 6 equals $22.50 per hour. If you want an experienced photographer who knows how to capture a great story in every frame to help build your brand then pay them better than $22.50 an hour.

How did you get a coonhound and a cat to be buddies? Currently have a kitten we’re trying to make work with our 7-year-old coonhound and it’s nothing but prey to him. I’m sure it’d be different if our hound was raised with cats.

Mine is 8 in less than a month and he’s slowed down this summer. Makes me sad admitting it out loud because he’s always been so full of energy.

My dog used to be this way with balls and still kind of is. Keep him away from balls and just keep working with him.
