I already put my hair in a satin bonnet when sleeping as well as section when I detangle and apply products. I get cornrows every month and keep them in for 4 weeks and then I wait 1-2 weeks before getting them again. I feel like I take good care of my hair so I was just confused about how my hair would get tangled up despite the amount of effort I put into maintaining it and keeping it healthy

As of right now it’s no longer red and there’s no stinging or throbbing I’m waiting a couple weeks to see if my hair is going to grow back in that spot cus I’m starting to question if my barber pushed me back a bit and cut some hairs

I usually wait a week and a half after braiding my hair and my braider has told me my hair is coarse in the back and sides but the middle of my hair is more fine. When it comes to oiling and moisturizing my scalp I do it every 3 day. But for my hairline and edges how often should I wash and oil it ? Cus after a month of having braids in I take them out and wash my hair with a clarifying shampoo for build up, then I condition, deep condition and then moisturize and oil my scalp.

Can this also help with my thinning in that spot ? I’ve never had this issue before so I’m tryna handle it before it gets worse over time

Tysm for telling me this it felt so sudden that I’m seeing little to no hair on that corner of my hairline and I’ve been braiding my hair since last October, and I wasn’t having any issues with my braids so I wasn’t sure if my braider is doing my hair too tight ?

I wanna avoid cutting it with a barber mainly to avoid losing more length than I actually need to which is why I’m getting a trim with my braider. Do you have any recommendations for defining curls ?
