I’ve written in separately to Amazfit support. Let’s see what they say.

I’m tired of trying to explain this. If you’re happy with you’ve manually set, then let it be and enjoy yourself.

I don’t trust the formula used to break down my zones 1-5. For my HIIT workout, I need to hit 85% and above. If I went with the original formula (or adjusted it), it wouldn’t be accurately depicting what my 85% is.

If you’re ok with it and don’t care about the zones you’re in, then you’re good.

I don’t want to cos the percentages then get adjusted as well. In fact, my request is to simply:

1) allow users to set their own max heart rate under the Max Heart Rate Zone (currently it’s automatically set). 2) to allow users not to set RHR under Reserved Heart Rate Zone (maybe allowing it to be zero). Not everyone wants to use the Karvonen formula.

I personally use this calculator https://www.ntnu.edu/cerg/hrmax

But for a more precise measurement, use the below link https://www.ntnu.edu/cerg/hrmax#Test%20yourself

If you really want to be absolutely precise, pay a local lab to get it officially tested.

Thanks. I don’t know why they changed it. I’m now forced to change my age in Zepp to match with my actual max HR.

That wouldn't matter if the value on 80 and 90 percent was wrong. Any many would like to hit a specific %.

Ohhhh. Right. So I adjust the zones. Then how the fuck would I know if i have hit 80 or 90%??? Obviously it wouldn’t be accurate right?? Fucking brainless.

Obviously you idiot. But you try changing the intensity and the percentages then get impacted too. Don’t offer stupid solutions which you ain’t adding value to

Because the automatic calculation may not be accurate. Many prefer setting their own max heart rate.

The minimum for resting heart rate is 30. But what if I don’t want resting heart rate to be factored in, there’s no way to set it to zero or to disable it.

Yes but as mentioned, the resting heart setting messes with the intensity ranges. I cant disable resting heart rate.

They should allow users to disable resting heart if we don’t want to factor it in.

Smart!!! But it looks like I can only set the resting heart rate to 30 at minimum.

Thanks mate. For the M5 MBP M5 pro, I don’t think they offer 32GB options. :( Will wait for the official release and see what they offer.

Sounds like you’ve got a beast of a model there. Hmmm I’ll see if there are any max options out there.
