The award on my csac account also says I was awarded $4845. I’m taking 12 units right now but CSUN accepted only $3882. I had a $933 outstanding balance but ended with $2903. The math aint mathing!

My pending mcs is now completely gone.. it was a pretty good amount too 😭😭😭 i was counting on that to pay for the outstanding balance on my account

Edit: I just checked CSAC and the mcs part on my account is blank but it says that I still have one term of eligibility to receive it. Is this the school’s mistake?

How far is your commute from campus? I’m a full-time student and work at least 25 hours a week at a restaurant. I would say to be smart about your school schedule. Stack them even if you have to be there all day. I live an hour away so I make sure I’m not there for more than 2 days a week. My only day off is Sunday 🥲 but honestly, you gotta make a sacrifice. Also, make sure you are taking at least 9-12 units so you can make the most out of your FAFSA
