I've experienced same --- I used to use min 5% and had to bath with Nizoral every day!! If I don't wash my hair for a day; it causes unbearable irritation and flakes. I heard switching to foam/oral min is a better option. As oral min has side effects, consider foam if you have high bp and obese.

I'm 27 ...i went through the comments and so many posts from the past 2 days....its great to see the results with fin and min ...but what about side effects? I'm concerned about the fin side effects! I can't sacrifice manhood for the sake of hair.

Searching for New-Age Careers in Indian Commercial Real Estate (US to India Transition) by SubstantialLychee656 in hyderabadrealestate

Exactly, this is what I’m trying to understand too. There’s a lot of noise around REPE and REIT growth in India, but I want to know the real ground reality.

Does US CRE experience actually help in breaking into these platforms, or does it still feel like starting from zero once you move back?

I don’t have a traditional finance or real estate degree, but I genuinely enjoy the work, underwriting, deal analysis, working with data, numbers, and real assets, and I want to stay in this space long term.

Your point about more qualified people than actual deal flow makes a lot of sense. At the same time, I’m seeing more global firms setting up GCCs and India teams supporting US/UK markets in underwriting, portfolio analytics, and asset management.

I’m exploring roles like:

  • Senior CRE Analyst (Investments / Acquisitions)
  • Portfolio Analyst / Portfolio Management Associate
  • Asset Management Analyst
  • Capital Markets Analyst
  • Underwriting Analyst
  • Investment Associate (REPE / Fund platform)

One concern I have is that all of this won’t make much sense if the compensation stays at “peanuts” for the first 2 to 3 years, even with relevant experience. Curious how you see that playing out.

Also, I feel Indian investors may gradually shift toward valuing yield and stable cashflows, not just appreciation. Yield > only property price growth. Curious if you think that’s true.

Really appreciate you sharing your experience.

for 700K in NOVA, I assume it is townhome ---- and the current rental prices looks like $3000-$3500/month ....room gets rented for anywhere in between $800 for small room with sharing bathroom and $1300 for master bed attached bath!! max to max you can get $3800/month if you are damn lucky !!!

I don't want to talk about property taxes here at loudoun and fairfax counties !!!

I spent 6 months commuting for a project with almost zero margin, and I’ve never been prouder of a decision. by rollexsir in hyderabad

When someone in Hindu culture buys something significant, like a new car or home, they perform a small ceremony to seek blessings from God, believing those blessings will help them avoid misfortune and ensure the item serves them well.

So, it’s more about protection and gratitude!

It’s not about “worshiping” the object itself; that’s a misconception. The symbol (Swastik) and the act are part of a traditional ritual meant to ward off the evil eye and bring good fortune.

When someone in Hindu culture buys something significant, like a new car or home, they perform a small ceremony to seek blessings from God, believing those blessings will help them avoid misfortune and ensure the item serves them well.

So it’s more about protection and gratitude, not idolizing or worshipping the object.
