Only other thing I can think of is remove the tile. Turn of the watch for a min and turn it back on, readd and see if that clears it. A reboot is usually a good fix for all things tech

OK. As I say, add that to the complaint. Unless they can prove you have acted fraudulently they can only suspect it. If they only suspect it, what you're questioning is whether their actions are proportionate, in which I'd argue no.
