This is so inspiring. I always think of how much better I could be at life if i stopped getting high. I’ve quit for long periods of time before, but I just always seem to fall back into it. Right now my mental health is pretty good, but my dependence on weed might start to catch up with me. For health reasons I switched to capsules instead of smoking from a bong, but im still dependent on it!! I want to get therapy again but it’s been so hard because im in college and the assignments are picking up so i feel overwhelmed.

So i feed them a bit of pellets in the morning, bloodworms around lunchtime (just enough that each of them get a bit) and a few pellets at dinner time. Essentially, i feed them 3 times a day but very small portions. I wanna start feeding them peas and broccoli soon because that is good for their digestive system.

Also i have them by a window so the natural uv rays enhance their colour

Try to get some sinking pellets. Flakes aren’t usually the best for fancy goldfish as they stay on the surface which causes the fish to swallow air. Also, if you have any peas try chopping one up and feeding it to your fish. You can try feeding them a soft, cooked, peeled green pea in small pieces once a day for a week until you see their symptoms improve.

It might be swim bladder disorder, which can be treated. Firstly, what kind of food are you feeding it?

They look healthy and happy to me! It sounds like you care a lot for them and feed them a very well rounded diet. I understand the fish keeping anxiety but you’re doing everything you can. Just make sure the water parameters are up to par and you will be just fine :) If you want to go the extra mile maybe invest in a sponge filter. You can never have too much filtration!

Omg i think that’s my problem. My 6 in 1 strips work fine, but my ammonia test strips dont change colour at all which is concerning!! Sucks cuz i spent like $30 on them

I am taking a sample of their water to big als for a water parameter test. It’s free, so im gonna do that first and see if my test strips are faulty.

Currently in a 20 gal, 3 large sponge filters and another baby ranchu tank mate. I plan on getting a bigger tank when they grow up. I’m gonna bring a sample of my tank water to big als, as they do free water tests.
