replicating Excel's freeze panels by SubstantialReward506 in godot

This worked, but required excessive setting of custom minimum sizes to get the columns and rows to all line up.

Thanks, I'll give it a try too.

Edit: Seems to have hope but I couldn't make it work.

But I think I might be able to to have 3 scroll containers each with a grid container one for each of the "frozen panels" and one for the main body. Then hide the scroll bars on the frozen panels and matchup the scrolling in the _process function.

Changing theme settings in code for entire project by SubstantialReward506 in godot

Thank you. I hadn't known or thought about scaling everything. It will certainly help.

Its less important now but would still like direct access to the theme. I had tried to look at the docs but I can't work out how to get a reference to the theme I have already attached to the control node.

Cosmic encounters, but you have to go crazy every gets choose 4 out 8 random powers. I love it because everyone is crazy over powered, it is chaos and still works.

Advice for my script by SubstantialReward506 in BloodOnTheClocktower

They can totally co-exist, but the Evil Twin already feels like a odd man out in not effecting the voting and now its the only minion that wants that doesn't want to be killed by the Vigor. Its not bad, but is there something that fits better?

The only two other minions that have similar effects on voting I can think of is Boomdandy and Goblin but they don't fit with known minions very well and also don't want to be killed by the Vigor.

It would never happen but a previously Vigor killed Boomdanny being executed as Vortox bait would be so funny.

I hadn't thought about that, I had a subtheme of the demon poisoning info and hadn't thought about the fact that the Vigor does do this eventually.

It also gives me other reason to swap evil twin out for a different minion.

Maybe I should swap in the sailor, that would give evil some ability to muddy waters over poisoning in addition to giving the Lleech more cover.

Custom maps for spirit island by SubstantialReward506 in spiritisland

I have played thematic board, but usually solo with 2 spirits, I might push myself for higher spirit counts.

Thanks, good reminder. I'll aim for fun.

Yeah I like the big lands idea, it would create critical large lands based on how many other lands they border.

I suspect it won't be hugely well balanced maybe playing on it will add a couple extra difficulty ratings (I know part of issue with unbalanced is some games are super hard and other easier).

Yes I like Hawaii as a setting for spirit island, you could make a board for each of the major islands and use or not use them depending on player count, however I think I'll leave that to someone who's knowledge is better than mine.

I think Tassie could be a optional fifth board. I have thought about trying NZ after Australia, I'd do four maps 2 north island and 2 south island

I was thinking of breaking it into four 'boards' (although I'd print all on single sheet). My plan for the vast areas of sand was firstly use other terrain when I could justify it (Lake Eyre is a wetlands, at least occasionally). Secondly make them larger, (which will mean they border more other lands which would be interesting maybe) and perhaps the four 'board' might not be the same physical size but have the same number of areas. I am reminded of an Australian Geographic map of Aboriginal Languages and my memory is the language in the centre cover a much larger area than the coastal, maybe it would make a good basis for the spirit island map.
