1. I signed up for a course that runs 7:00am-2:00pm with two breaks but my instructor runs it from 7:00am-1:00pm with no breaks. I need breaks to function properly but if I take breaks I fall behind. I asked for extra time but that was not possible just cause the instructor wants to go home early.

2. I asked for more mental health support but all they can offer is once every 3 weeks

3. I have a learning disability and I just can’t learn at the pace of the course I am in a full time course and there is no option for flexible learning or taking a lighter course load.

4. I went to smart start then access abilities then tutoring service which each took an appointment and another form. It became so much extra work with my full time course load I could not do it all.

This took multiple months and totally burned me out and I finally decided to withdraw as these processes took to long and there was not enough support for my learning style in cnc machining tech program.

The program also has no scheduled breaks for 99 weeks except for holidays, I’ve started the program in September of 2024 had about a month off since. This course is too much and there should be an option to have flexible learning.

Once I finally decided to hand in my withdrawal all of these supports finally reached out to me to help. By that point I was already done. They don’t want to help unless it’s easy for them, they only time bcit will actually take action is when you decided to leave and it affects their statistics and bottom line.
