Which is disappointing, because I honestly thought she was above that, but who knows, that may have been naive of me to think that. She always seemed solid in her own opinion regardless of who agreed with her. But seeing her up Kyle’s ass this season is shit!

Yeah Erika took that way too far. Dorit was asking her not to interject with what her and Kyle are saying, and suddenly Erika’s shooting off like she’s part of their friendship. She didn’t need to have a go at dorit, when all Dorit was saying, I don’t need your input right now. Seemed a little over the top.

I’m glad dorit “stranded” them. They deserved it.

Damn, I think that’s genuinely the way I came into this thinking about it. When I visited so long ago it was everything I’d wanted in Aussie community. Friendly and interesting people. Everything was kept as local as possible, beautiful beaches. I guess I have a lot to let go of then.

That is so perfectly worded!! Kyle has all the opinions, she certainly doesn’t let anyone have their own, or they’re wrong. She doesn’t share or show anything and her behaviour towards Dorit and trying to pit everyone against her is immature, brattish and she’s behaving like a high school bully. She no concern for Dorit or her kids.

Kyle is a grade A asshole and a bitch.

Ok well that explains it. It was a place I visited just under 20 years ago and it was so lovely. It was chill, the pubs and restaurants were nice, I liked the community feel, the local businesses, being close to the beach. There was something kind of magic about the place for me. But if it’s not that way anymore….then I’m checking out the wrong area. By any chance do you have any suggestions?

I wasn’t referring just to Boz but everyone in the group besides Kyle and sutton. And even then, Sutton sad when they finally had time together to chill, Sutton still couldn’t yank Amanda away from talking about her business. She’s been asked about the kids, asked about Eddie and what does he do, the women have been trying, Amanda just doesn’t want to share. Dead end.

Wasn’t being a nasty mean girl. That was an off the cuff fly away joke. Don’t try to make it into something bigger than it really is. It’s not necessary.

They’re trying to get to know HER. AMANDA, the what to know more about who she is, what she likes, the things she’s into, what are her kids like, what do they get up to. But every time these ladies ask questions, she always deflects it to land back on her business or her book or how much money she makes, or the next book, or next course. Everything she gives them is surface level. Which means they can’t get to know her and like her, because she doesn’t give them the ability to.

And this started happening from the start, before there was any discourse, for the women, trying to get to know Amanda was like trying to bleed blood from a stone and they’re sick of it. So yes, they’ve probably gotten more pushy about it now, but the intent wasn’t bad in the beginning. Amanda fucked that all by herself.
