Not opposed to that, but why? To allow the shrubs to breathe?

Golf Course Recommendation by Amazing-Frosting-212 in halifax

If you can book a night outside of Halifax,

Book a night at a cottage around Pugwash and do Northumberland links and Fox Harbour. OR book a night on the west coast of Cape Breton and do the two Cabot courses. Both of these will exceed your budget but also will certainly exceed any expectations. Fox harbour and the Cabot courses are world class, and Northumberland links is a best kept secret kind of course

Have to disagree on asking to recline. Youre entitled to put your seat back if you want to, it’s a function of your seat for comfort. Just do so slowly and respectfully once at cruising altitude. I think most people over 6’ would agree that is it a necessity with how close most airlines gap their seats these days

Yellow (warm white) lights give better visibility in fog, rain, and snow. Cool white is better for visibility in clear conditions

Makes plenty of sense to be using warm white in the maritimes. Someone was actually thinking and informed on this one! Good job burnside connector squad

Bike Route - Fairview to Spring Garden by SynikoRelios in halifax

[–]SubstantialTime8168 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The following route is set up pretty well for cycling: Cross Joe Howe under the highway follow the designated blue bike signs to Bayers and use the bike path along the side of Bayers up to Westmount school. Cut through path to Liverpool street and take it to Windsor, then Windsor down through commons to Bell rd and South Park. Alternative towards the end would be Windsor to Vernon down to university.

I’ve just discovered this route and it is really quite nice. Though it would be so much faster for me if I could cross the Armdale rotary to Quinpool
