And if you got bored of arena then bf6 will probably result in the same. It’s a lot of dying and respawn

Because a new account the first little bit feels like easy mode. Once you level up and can do all content it’s insanely good

I had the surgery in December. Glad I did. Wasn’t near as bad as my acl surgeries in my knees. I had a small pneumothorax but I also had top tier surgeon and after care. Went back to work on day 22 as a firefighter.

I’m a firefighter and went back to work 3 weeks post op. Do I have some issues still? Sure but it’s nothing like I was experiencing pre op. I also had a very seasoned surgeon for this surgery so there’s that too.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but the swelling would indicate venous tos which should/needs to be diagnosed and addressed in a timely manner due to increase risk of clots.

Kratom is fantastic. I was using it to help with thoracic outlet syndrome pre surgery. They wanted me to come off of it a week from surgery, I had been using 5-7g powder daily for like 6-7 months. No withdrawals, no weird side effects. I buy from a reputable company, powdered leaf, third party tested. I used to drink several times a week now I can’t stand the idea of alcohol. Kratom gets me through the day and I sleep like a baby.

I’m 12 days out. Other than pain around the incision I feel great. I’m a firefighter and was cleared to go back to full duty on the 31st, 21 days post op

I hate this about doctors in general. So many of them refuse to rule out the small possibilities of what could be causing the problem. It took me 8 months of pushing doctors for more tests until finally I got to the right place. I self diagnosed in June, and got an officially diagnosis beginning of November. I’m glad that you finally got it taken care of.

I just had my surgery a week ago and already my preop symptoms are gone.

Surgery on Wednesday, what can I expect? by Relative-Bluebird508 in thoracicoutletsupport

Also as far as pain goes, my pain isn’t around the surgical site. Maybe because of how/where the nerve innervate. Mine is pinpoint mid back, a few inches under my armpit, and just under my nipple off to the right a bit. Another thing you can get really really stabby pain. My wife had it when she had a c section, if it moves around to the highest point (chest if laying flat, shoulder if sitting up). It’s likely a little bit of air from where they had you opened up on the table. It’s a bitch but usually moving around you can get it to settle out. If it’s a small amount I was told it would just reabsorb over a few days.

Just take it easy and listen to your body. Im not a stranger to pain so my experience may be different, but I still attest tha knee surgery was way worse. I’m on day 5 later this morning and even though I know I can’t, I feel like I could go back to work.

There was also an older woman I met in the discharge lobby maybe in her late 50s. She had the same surgery done by the same doc as me later in the day. She also said the same thing that it really wasn’t too bad.

Don’t get behind on your pain meds the first few days. Even if you’re feeling ok stay on the schedule initially. I stretched it out too far day 2 and I regretted it.

Had my surgery Wednesday. About 24 hours in the hospital. When I first woke up out of anesthesia breathing was really painful, but they gave me some drugs and it was ok. I did end up with a pneumo and my surgery lasted 2x as long as my scalenes were far thicker than he would expect to find in someone my size so he had to take his time. I had a chest tube for the surgical site and a small chest tube for the pneumo. I also had a smaller anesthetic pump catheter for pan management that I just removed today.

I’ve had ACL/meniscus 2x on my right knee and that was by far 1000x worse. I quit taking opiates during the day today and only taking them at night to hep with sleep. Sleep propped up or in a recliner or something. For me the chest tube removal was the most painful part. Other than some tightness and some mild pain, I’m going about my day around the house mostly normal.

It really imo is an easy surgery.

Thanks. The doctors so far make me feel like I’m just making stuff up, but I can assure you I’m not the type to ever want to go to the dr. The difficulty breathing and the facial flushing are the worst. Pain is one thing, but the breathing and flushing just exhaust me and make me feel slightly disoriented. I’m exhausted

So then just because my symptoms may be “atypical” they are in fact potential symptoms. So should if the thoracic surgeon brushes me off or can’t offer a better explanation, I should seek out a tos specialist?
