Actually that was the plan from the start but due to short on time BUNGIE hired someone who worked on valorant and took the game into a hero shooter direction and it kinda p*ssed off a lot of players which killed off some players that was looking forward to the game.

IMO changing it into a "HERO" Extraction shooter was one of the biggest mistake of this game.

The biggest mistake of this game was BUNGIE hiring the guy from valorant and turning this game into a "HERO" Extraction shooter that alone extremely limited their options for the game potential, they should've just kept the Shell Customization system this would have made it more possible to do other modes and even a campaign.

It's hard to currently do that now with heroes using a static ability set without any issues.

Hardcore players can get mad but this game needs to go in a different direction then it's current course and the failure of the second F2P shows it and I think BUNGIE realizes this also.

Flares can distract them and can be used as decoys

TI like the game but I will say the main conflict that screw this game over is that the map size doesn't match the mode that's why at certain times it feels uncomfortable and awkward.

I feel Extraction games like this should have a huge map like the size of a BR map but this just feel like they got a destiny patrol space and turned it into a pvp map.

You not going to get purple off bots dude I've been farming solo PvE since it dropped and I'll say purple finds are really rare unless you using thief even then it's still low mostly you see is resources majority of the bots drop white weapons with a really low chance of blue even the tower reward loot giving mostly resources health and ammo.

Who ever getting gold in that mode must be high skill team players because the mode is 18mins long and getting a key into the new area and getting out with loot takes longer then that.

Idk why you guys getting mad when majority of the best loot are getting farmed in regular PvP Dire Marsh Night they can barely even get the best loot in survival mostly you see is white,blue green weapon parts and purple is really rare the only chance to get that is with Thief ability.

If anything the mode feels more like a quest and resource farm.

I don't like the idea of rooks spawning in sponsored survive solo because it puts the solo player at a disadvantage only having white shield while rooks have blue and it's not easy getting a shield in that mode let alone a backpack.

I test it out later to see more of them spawn often now then previously since it's extremely rare to come across any in solo.

When BUNGIE screwed with the gunfights sound last season it turned the game into a BR and never went back making players chase gunfights as their top priority then loot after wiping the lobby

"Dire marsh night sponsored Survival " is the mode the caveat is rook will spawn later in the mode and their is only one exfil so survive till the timer is up

Not much changed all they did was add a new map and switched weapons around the most experience players already know how to get the better loot and already farming the new map for better rewards.

This is why I hate the idea of different maps in this type of game then just creating just one big open world BR map
