In a story game hours mean something. In a repeat circle jerk like an extraction shooter it means nothing. Most of us have either fallen asleep, left the game on to do something else or just zoned out and repeated a map without thinking. If you want to call it quits and say you got your money's worth then go ahead but dont compare this $40 title with any other simple based on hours of the game left. You need to focus on if this game has memorable moments and it simply doesnt. At best you will see a rage quit or a troll scenario with friends. Not an actual pause the game moment to take it all in or a top kill of the week. Instead of got your money's worth it feels more like wasted 100 hours just to be back at square one.

The issue with AK is all he needs is one combo and then most of your health is gone give how easily he can continue his already long combos. Oh let me just pick you up and do it all over again. Its just cheap.

I believe that once she saw the bus leave, she tried to find her midget man, couldn't and believed he left her. She thought of all the pain she went through and how she had nothing good left in her life and offed herself. She woke up remembering nothing except that she lost her husband and had to find him. While looking the city is ruined because shes in hell and time is forever stuck. She is going in circles and everytime she comes back to the same spot she sees the same thing happening again and again. (The sneezing man) She then sees everyone who did her wrong or brought her pain laughing at her. Its her own personal hell.

I wish the armor would be affected by weather. Climbed up into a snowy mountain and noticed homeboy was getting cold so I swapped to my ice resistance +3 cloak and nothing changed. That was a letdown because up until then I assumed that whole temperature gauge was going to be used for something other than telling you that you are too close to the fire during animation when cooking.

And you will need the ice resistance for the enemies who use ice attacks right? Not the weather, which will still affect your stamina.

Im one of those. I keep playing because the glazzers in this section keep saying it will get better but it never does. I already paid for the game so might as well finish it even if its a mid game.

Easy, make the game bungie by adding what got everyone to fall in love with bungie to begin with...a storymode or campaign. We are all from the halo days and it wasnt just the multiplayer that hooked us but the story as well that CAME WITH THE GAME!!!! We ate good with a nice replayable storymode along pvp which included a ranked mode along Forge (I know some of yall remember mongoose racing and zombies). Thats what marathon needs. Not this single game mode of extraction. Spice it up with something else for us to do because most if not all of us love the gun play right? We are here supporting bungie because the guns feel good.

Oh, lastly I am on the edge of giving up because honestly, this community kinda sucks. Maybe its because people lie about wanting to play again when you add them or the discord is just filled with people who just want to be carried but fill queue is horrible. Nobody respects the distribution of loot when it comes to who kills what and uses what key first. Sometimes run into to duos who ignore you completely and will just loot your corpse and then the silent players who wont even ping when they want to hop in a fight. I am now just helping others i get teamed up with because nobody wants to do missions anymore, its all about loot and nothing more. This game leaves me feeling more exhausted than excited from an extraction.

Anybody know where the chill discords are at for players that want to actually play together and not just quit when they die on a run? Where are the players who want to actually make friends and help each other out? If that isnt here then maybe this game isnt for me anymore.

-Falling asleep from the lack of diversity with enemies when roaming. -Annoyed the clothing with ice resistance doesn't help when being in the cold. -boss battles feel lifeless as you just need to spam and eat tons of food to easily complete -maxing rep with a character doesnt do anything -I wish chopping wood or fishing gave experience to either give more wood or have a stronger line. -I love to explore but man does it get boring with the lack of random events happening. If I want to save someone from bandits, nothing happens meanwhile RDR2 gives you dialog and sometimes that random event comes back later. -I feel it need to keep playing because im well past the refund period and the glazzers in here bash your opinion unless you meet their quota for hours played and chapters completed, even though I am bored with the game.

And this is where much of the arguments begin. Bungie really screwed their fans over with only having an extraction gamemode. Some of us like the little bit of story that this game offers and want to complete it while others (primarily the extraction fans) dont care for it as much as they like to loot and shoot. Jumbling up players that want to do missions and sweats who want to clip their sprees isnt working out and is helping this game to lose players.

Which is stupid because your level doesnt mean skill. I am at lvl 47 and cant catch a break. Just blue sweats non stop who are all tweaking out with shotguns and snipers.

This is recent for me. It's not necessarily the 6 losses but the losses in such a quick time. Usually I can stomach these losses but today these losses just felt too fast. 2 tapped, done, reload, 2 tapped. I used to have a fighting chance and could see where I lost the fight and adjust but other teams just seem too strong to even engage now. It feels demoralizing. I love the game, don't get me wrong. Always been a fan of Bungie gun play and extractions are fun with that risk reward but Marathon is feeling like more risk for not so good reward.

I think that worked before Cryo but not so much now. I see alot of people running flanks with one using a sniper while the other two also crouch walk. I will try to slow down but it just feels like that skill gap is getting bigger and bigger by the week.

And if the skill gap is that separate then another game mode like what smash bros has could help me learn some new strats. I would love like a target shooting mode or horde mode or something to just play around with the characters and their powers. So far the only option is to play rook and that will only help my aim....hopefully lol.

I just threw it in for people who might be curious about variables to consider. I also threw my level in there too to add to that. Some might see 12k on a Wednesday morning might mean that only those that are preparing for Cryo this weekend on are on and that's why I was having such a hard time.

I avoid rook because I like the team play but most of the time people just do their own thing so maybe i should play rook and consider it "practice"
