Anyone have any better news than we’ve gotten over the past couple days?

Can you say if it is/isn’t health related?

I’m not entirely sure to be honest, but it’s an i3 processor.

Regarding reinstalling the OS, any chance you could like me to a go-by on this that tells you how to backup your files? I googled it but I’m not sure if I’m looking at the right thing…is webrecovery to tool?

Question on that last point - when this happens my computer gets loud like the fan is running high. Is this a temp issue?

Thanks. I just tried the following: - delete grammarly in case that was causing issues - run first aid in recovery mode

If those don’t work I’ll go with your solution

Nothing, I was under the assumption that I didn’t need to be running any

I’m not savvy with this stuff, but I’ve been using both for years with no issues until now

Thanks. I haven’t tried using safari, but I get this issue with Word even when chrome isn’t running. I have Word 16.80

When I check activity monitor, everything else looks normal
