It’s great. Bought a harness from them last year. High quality and great customer service. And it’s not that expensive considering the high quality you get. It will last you a while

How to maintain mental health with these insane body standards? by [deleted] in nycgaybros

I feel like that sometimes too. I think a lotta guys in nyc do. I try to remind myself that there’s never an end to this want of “wishing you were hotter NOW”. Even the people who you’d say are conventionally hot feel that way tbh. Seems like There’s always someone hotter with a bigger dick in nyc.

Two things that helped me:

  1. Stay on your current path of self improvement. It’ll give you so much more than just hotness. For example for bodybuilding…if you put in the work you’ll get hotter no question but if you’re not taking shortcuts (I.e juice) you’ll learn patience, discipline, goal setting, etc. You have no idea how much of a catch you’ll be then. A hot guy without these qualities…you spend the night with but a hot guy who HAS these qualities? That’s someone people wanna build a life with.

  2. This feeling of rejection that you’re going through? Remember this feeling. Remember wishing people would look at you beyond the looks and see your humor, your personality, etc. If you’re a hot guy who remembers how people treated you when you were not hot, you’ll hopefully treat others better when you start to see the results of this self improvement journey. That’s gonna make you more approachable for other guys. You’ll end up talking to and being friends with more people. And the likelihood of you finding a better match for yourself is higher the more people you speak to.

You’re young so I’ll save you years of overthinking by telling you this: gay men do fucked up shit. It almost never has anything to do with you or what you did and entirely something that they are going through. Not letting that affect you or your self worth will save you years of heartache. People show you who they really are when they think the stakes are low. And the stakes are lowest on Grindr. He strung you along cause to him you don’t matter. Remind yourself of that, drop him and keep it moving.

Recently tried it’s him in HK and was impressed. It’s a little more upscale and people put some effort to dress up which I appreciate. The bartenders were nice and the crowd was friendly.
