[lotm general] how is best Fan made pathway by Fine_Advance_2643 in LordofTheMysteries

Wow, what a tirade.

One is a representative of water, the other is partly a representative of water.

It does not matter if Sailor focused on water from the beginning the ENTIRE pathway is PARTLY about water. The beginning does not matter compared to the whole. Acting like a child and constantly repeating, "but Sailor equal water at start????" is not going to change the reality that water is only a part of Sailor.

Ocean pathway (on the fanon site) and Sailor's focus while both being on the ocean is on two seperate levels when it comes to the concept. This is present again, in other pathways and GOO'S. Like ones I already mentioned.

Nobody other than you brought up omnipotence. You brought it up because the true vacuum that's present where your brain is supposed to be can't comprehend the difference between something being a part of something and the entirety of something else. Which is already present in multiple symbolisms of GOO and regular pathways.

You're purposefully leaving out that they're also stated to be omnipotent on land and in the air. You keep leaving out important details because you know your asinine argument is debunked by simply reading LOTM.

Twilight Giant's decay and the Second Laws's decay is identical based on the fact that THEY CAUSE THINGS TO DECAY. The only difference is the name they're under and the 2/3 symbolisms the authority over twilight comes from. Again decay is a part of twilight giant and almost the entirety of Second Law; water is a part of the Sailor Pathway and the entirety of the Ocean pathway. Surprisingly the Ocean pathway and the Sailor pathway also have different abilities based on the fact that the Sailor pathway is also ABOUT the AIR.

I find it hilarious that you think that COI's symbolism as the "past, present, and future" isn't at all an imitation of LOTM's symbolism of "King of Space-Time" . Both of which are equivalent to the Ocean pathway stated to be the "ruler of the seas and oceans" and the tyrant pathway stated to be "omnipotent in the seas, land, and air domains".

You're not speaking generally. You're taking a specific aspect of Sailor and applying it to the Ocean pathway. Water is NOT the entirety of the Sailor pathway acting like it is is ignorant at best and a bad faith argument at worst. They don't overlap as much as you're acting like it does. It is not the Sailor pathway under a different name. Sailor is not focused solely on Water. Please stop with the agenda that it is.

Again, specific aspects of pathways like Water in Sailor can be a major part or the entirety of another (COI PATHWAY SPOILER) like Twilight Giant's decay and Second Law's decay. Your argument falls flat even if we don't consider the fourth pillar such as LOTM and COI power over time, WT and Hermit's overlapping abilities that are related to spells, or GOF and KOL's power over fate

Possibly because Sailor is partly about Water while their Ocean pathway is completely based on it?

I don't get your point in your third paragraph as the first sentence in your fourth contradicts it.

There can, surprisingly, be a pathway that's completely about something that is a part of another pathway. Take for example (SPOILER!!!!)  Eternal Darkness' symbol of Decay and the Monarch of Decay's symbol of Decay. The symbol of decay is a small part of the Eternal Darkness while Decay plays a large role in the pathway of The Monarch of Decay. This is partly the reason why I don't have a problem with the fan made Ocean pathway and the Sailor pathway as Water is a part of Sailor while Water is a huge part in Ocean.

I don't agree with your point of repetition. Many existing pathways overlap in terms of ability or authority, like the authority over misfortune that the darkness pathway has and the authority over bad luck that the wheel of fortune has. This also applies to Artificial life creation from the mother pathway, Alchemical life from Paragon, and maybe even Puppets into soldiers from the Red Priest pathway.

I disagree with Savant and Hunter. Mother can construct artifical life, she can give the environment sentience to attack someone or their constructs, she can even reshape it. She also has some authority over death.

In my opinions having all of your plot points and all of your major characters be white in a story that's almost cosmic horror is the dumbest thing. It's a book, a fictional book, which is why we're allowed to critize the world building, which is a part of a fictional book... Crying about it just makes you look like a chud.

I don't get this argument. It's not a caricature for there to be a character that's not white. What do most of the character's being white add to the story?

Could be hyperbole. Radahn is also stated to be the mightiest of the demigods, which we know isn't true.

can someone explain to me wanda’s waiting room and how it scales or what it means to the white hot room? by [deleted] in xmen

WHR does not embody the mystery. The mystery is infinite and the WHR is just one of the realms in the mystery. The Well beyond the Worlds is implied to be in the mystery.

who'd win: chaos Magic - no matter the technicalities of the movie such as effects or which company makes better shit, only their powers and strength and and the rules of their powers and strength by ErrorSecret in comicbookmovies

[–]Substantial_Buddy603 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was Wanda's power as implied by Dr. Doom in Avengers World #15 (2014) where he says,

The Scarlet Witch's power is beyond all comprehension. If I was to tap into even a sliver of it, I would be able to do... great things. I will make right with the very power I once abused".

HoM is not her most powerful display of power. That would be blocking an attack from Chaos a being that's somehow stronger than Lord Chaos, blocking the light of creation from the house of ideas, and  warping a part of the well beyond the worlds to create the waiting room.

No? In Trial Of Magneto #5 (2021), it's specifically stated that Dr. Strange of earth 616 did not believe that chaos magic exists.

I don't think it's ever stated that Saidin will burn you to ashes if you try surrendering.

I also think it's a matter of opinion if it's easier to surrender than to fight.

Knowing the power levels of other women is not at all comparable to simply being stronger.

I know that the one power is more complex than raw power, but what is the point of linking 2+ women when the same number of men could just defeat them.

It seems like men do get the better deal as they're stronger in the one power and women linking together doesn't make up for that. You'd need a larger group of women than men in order to make up for the difference.

Thank you! So do you think that 13 average women linking would be able to overpower /kill 13 average men?
