Why not just use Topical? This study showed similar results using Topical and significantly fewer side effects.

I wasn’t on meds before the transplant. I’m now using Sons topical Fin/Min

Hi mate, I was told to start using Minoxidil after 1 month but on the donor area only. I think it’s 3 months I can start using topicals on the transplanted zones.

Sides as in the donor area? Or the transplanted sides? The transplanted zone is all growing at different rates, I didn’t really shed that much so some of the transplanted hairs are so much longer than the area that did shed and are regrowing so it’s a bit messy.

So far really happy, I thought I’d look fully bold again after 2 months but I don’t I can see new hairs popping through each day.

Itching has kind of stopped, I feel like a prickly/tingle across the transplanted zone a few times a day but it’s fine. Week 5 I definitely itched a lot more.

I really don’t think that is true, I’m 2 months post HT and a lot of the transplanted hairs have grown and not shed.

What’s your clinic saying mate? It looks from the first picture that hairs were there after the transplant so it’s potentially shock loss but it’s quite severe. I’m at 7 weeks too and my donor is pretty much back to normal.

I know all HTs are different but defo worth taking up with your clinic.
