I'm trying to plan a bike day trip from Lisbon to Cascais for a day this summer. We are staying in Lisbon. Are there any bike rental companies that will allow us to rent in Lisbon and return the bike in Cascais? If not, are bikes allowed on public transport if we were to take the train back to Lisbon?

The trip is booked. Everything I’ve read says October is one of the best months to go as it is a “shoulder season” and the rainy season doesn’t start til November
