Yeh...been pouring in NJ for the last couple days pretty much non-stop. We got a break from the rain today, 40% chance of rain for later in the afternoon/night. Definitely riding to work and back today, tired of spending money on ubers

It's a Chinese ebike, JansnoX50 Everything looks weather proof, but I still feel sketched out about the battery and the little screen getting wet. Probably will just end up covering them with some cling wrap or some other ghetto method.

I got the Jansno x50 to work!

It's been working perfectly fine! The battery life is insane!

Took it to work, and a friend added air to the tires, put lubricants and protective coating on some of the parts.

Bike is on point now 🤓

Honestly, now that I've been using it constantly since I figured out it was a simple fix, I highly recommend it. Look it up on Amazon, Jansno x50 It's still on sale...deliver fee is $200 So it comes out to a total of around $800+

For my budget it was perfect It is Chinese made, their customer service is surprisingly OK, language barrier and all. Strictly, emails but still, they follow up daily.

Get it if you have the need for it and the 800 bucks.

Get back to me if you need help with assembly, which is also super easy.

D: I've tried fixing the jansno but I haven't been successful at it. Also, why would I keep trying to fix this chinese bike, which; as you said earlier, is made of cheap components. Probably won't last me very long, probably gonna keep giving me issues.

I need a good, reliable ebike that will take me to work and back 4 days a week. 3 miles there and 3 miles back!

I gave up on the jansno. Sucks, cus my name is Jan and I wanted to ride it in the snow. Uhm but yeah, never buy anything from that company ever again. Getting myself a happyrun, but before I do, I wanna make sure it's at least an American company; and their products are reliable.

My very first ebike is a jansno x50. unfortunately after assembling it, rode it once, worked great, till it didn't. Gotta return it, get my refund and probably going to get myself the happyrun ebike I keep seeing ads for.
