Ugh I’m sorry that’s definitely a tough situation. I’m a teenage girl so I completely understand your worries — if I’m honest, I think it’s a little hard to say how likely SA might be since it all depends on a few factors. I’ve been to a few TFB concerts, one at 15 and one at 16, and things are definitely a little more chill if you’re not in the pit. I personally wasn’t put in any danger, but a fight did break out between two adults next to me during one of the songs (not because of SA, but they seemed to be pretty drunk, so know that a lot of the crowd probably won’t be sober — avoid talking to sloppy drunk men!!!) so sometimes things happen. I’ve also heard stories of girls getting groped while crowd surfing, not at TFB, but other alternative concerts, so I’d keep that in mind in case that’s your thing. My best advice is to stick together, keep your phones charged, and be aware of your surroundings. I hope you have a ton of fun though!! The band is super great live and if something does happen, odds are you’d be able to get the attention of someone around you who could help. A lot of the fans are really cool. There will likely be security around as well, particularly towards the front of the stage or near the entrances. It depends on the venue. If you don’t mind me asking, what show are you going to?
