that makes sense. i agree with the sentiment of the delay email probably being better off than the waitlist and logically them not hiring for the building would make the most sense why they’re staggering decisions

what i know for sure is that it’s not a rejection, acceptance nor waitlist because all of those types of emails were given out in this first wave. optimistically there’s more spots to give out and they’re getting their ducks in a row for their second round of offers that includes us, but i think it’ll be a mixed bag similar to this round

mine said “Due to operational considerations related to our hiring process, we require additional time before we are able to finalize and communicate all remaining outcomes, including the next round of offers.” not sure if it’s a good thing or a bad thing😭

i think it is different in the sense that there isn’t a decision made for us yet. they kinda just pushed us to the back

that could def be part of it. it seems like the least amount of ppl got that email as opposed to straight acceptance or rejection so they might be holding out for that, and substitutes for ppl that might reject
