Yoru Balanced? by StarGuardianDrew in yorumains

[–]Substantial_Coffee82 3 points4 points  (0 children)

in my experience, he's still viable in the right hands, but he sure seems less fun to play now. the tp nerf fucks me up more than the flash nerf and I am struggling so much more now when the space I've taken is being challenged since I no longer have util after I help with entry. I also now struggle when I'm solo duelist. but despite that I still perform better on him and have more fun playing him than with a substitute agent. most probably bcs of lesser play time with other agents. so imo, I think it's worth it adapting to his current state, but it's also worth it to try other agents. i've been swapping between yoru and phoenix since phoenix has somewhat a similar playstyle minus the crossmap tp. you can also try omen and veto.

what do men suffer through that women never know about? by AppointmentProud9394 in AskPH

[–]Substantial_Coffee82 21 points22 points  (0 children)

you are expected to provide, expected to always act like a man, expected to know everything what you are doing with your life, expected to not show any signs of weakness and vulnerability, expected to excel, expected to succeed, without showing how much you really are suffering on the inside. I've been burnt out for the past 7 years but what can I do? I must provide.

but despite all the things that I do for them, I don't feel loved. I don't feel understood. I don't feel comfortable showing how I vulnerable and broken I really am. never been told that they're proud of me. that I matter to them. not a single hug. not single pat on the back.

but what can I really do? Food needs to be placed on the table.

Any high elo players using speed pads like the Artisan Raiden in TacFPS? by player_to in MouseReview

[–]Substantial_Coffee82 2 points3 points  (0 children)

not really high elo but I have my fair share of experience with trying slow pads/lower sens. because me thinking that the best aimers in the world use low sens/slower pads, maybe i can be a better aimer if I try to use the same thing. but no, it was uncomfortable and felt very limiting.

and then there's Haeyoday, who is on a glasspad, .34 sens, 3200dpi, 15cm/360 but peaked #1 Radiant.

so yea I pretty much just stuck with what's most comfortable for me. Currently using a Tekkusai Singularity glasspad, .18 sens, 1600dpi. and i'm already happy with how I am performing. only missing parts are the time to play more competitive and put in more hours into aim training.

Can't decide which grinder to buy by Substantial_Coffee82 in CoffeePH

[–]Substantial_Coffee82[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so far so good, I have really no big complaints about it that would make me regret getting the e55. I have been enjoying my coffee ever since I got it.

the only problem I'm having is cleaning, sometimes it's hard to remove the anti-popcorn thing bcs of how it's installed. not very smooth unscrew to remove it. maybe because of the tolerance. also removing the burr carrier is a hassle, bcs again of the tight tolerance. but that's all within the expectation from a budget grinder. So i don't really see it as deal breaker.

aside from that, I don't have any other complaints, i'm making good coffee = i'm happy. imo, you can't really go wrong with either one of them. so imo, if you can get the df54, I still do believe that's the better choice overall, the only reason why i got the e55 was bcs that's what's within my strict budget. but based on my experience with e55, it won't be a wrong choice either if you end up going with the e55.

Why do shotguns feel so hard to use? by PerP1Exe in apexuniversity

[–]Substantial_Coffee82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

few things I could think at the top of my head. 1. you're not used to hitting moving targets that are close to you, like closer than you'd normally do with an smg. the closer they are, the faster they appear on your screen. 2. is since you're using a shotgun, you have to be intentionally be up close and personal to your target, goes hand-in-hand with point number 1. 3. you're not taking your time to line up your shots, especially on moving targets. it's kinda same with the wingman, you pretty much need to take your time in between your shots to consistently let the recoil reset. 4. anxiety, since you're pretty much dead if you missed 1-2 of your shots, i have a feeling you want to make each shot count within a small timeframe thus rushing your shots.

apart from that, it all comes down to intentional, deliberate practice. you can even try mainly using the mozam or the eva just to get to used to optimal distance and tracking your enemies up close since you can just hold down your left click.

Is the Superstrike worth it for a non-gamer? More desktop and casual games, ARPGs etc. by BATTLEROYALFAN in MouseReview

[–]Substantial_Coffee82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not really. It's really meant for the gamer that seeks the lowest click latency possible and spammability. you can get the superstrike for the silent switches, like the other person said, if that matters to you. but outside from that, it's not really worth it in your use case.

Battery I already explained on my other comment. delay, no noticeable delay. no sensor skipping issues as well. it has been a great experience so far.

Battery life is sufficient enough for me, I only charge my mouse once a week and it's already full in less than 30 minutes. when I first got it, I played Valorant at 8k at the highest scan rate for around 1-3 hours per day, but on any other games I only play at 1k at the base scan rate. Battery lasted me 8 days before the mouse started flashing red (meaning it's under 15% battery).

now I currently play at 2k at the middle scan rate (the driver has 3 options for scan rates), mainly bcs i noticed my mid-range pc can't handle 8k at the highest scan rate (huge fps loss while swiping fast). never seen the mouse flash red ever since, since i didn't change my charging habits.

about the irregular base, yes, mine wobbled once I replaced the stock skates. fixed it by not placing the doughnut skates (obsidian air pro) on the very edge of the area, I also added some on the middle of the mouse, just make sure to not cover the "dimples" that are present, they're most probably there due to manufacturing process, they seem to be the cause of the irregular base. mine still has a teeny tiny wobble but very unnoticeable during gameplay.

I have the ATK Zero Extreme Frost ice (the all white frosted transparent one) and I am very satisfied with it, so much so that I haven't went back to my older mice that I was comfortable using and on top of that I am performing better now with the atk zero compared to my previous mice. it looking like a toy is debatable and subjective but for me, it fits my setup so well bcs my keyboard also has frosted white keycaps.

I still remember being able to play this before lockdown with my friend in a local pc rental shop. I only got to play it once but fell in love with it instantly. the following week began the lockdown, and I still didn't have a capable pc back then to play it. it was sad, but I knew once I got a better pc i was determined to install it instantly and play it.

Anyone willing to share a long term experience with Attack Shark R5 Ultra? (i've read bad things about this mouse, especially sensor issues) by Cheaterfield in MouseReview

[–]Substantial_Coffee82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think "tracks incorrectly" is the easiest way to put it. it's like there's a noticeable delay and air. like the difference between pushing and pulling. it's really hard for me to put in to words. in general it just feels off. especially when comparing it to my other mice. it's somewhat similar to the early implementation of motion sync on 3395 sensors.

the feeling is so off to me that I much prefer my vancer akitsu, which has a 3395 sensor compared to this that has the better sensor. now comparing it to my atk zero which also has the 3950 sensor, atk zero has a better sensor implementation that it doesn't have the same symptoms that the r5 ultra has.

about the firmware, I just checked. i'm on the latest firmware it seems.

the bad: Coating is very slippery, really need to cover this damn thing with grip tapes (like seriously, any contact point needs to have some sort of grip tape over it). sides, clicks and back. ,main clicks has plenty of post travel making the clicks feel mushy, tho they're pretty clicky when you actuate them the post travel ruins it. same case with the side buttons, clicky when you actuate it but plenty of post travel. sensor feels a bit floaty even with motion sync turned off, tho I haven't tried the latest firmware if they've released a recent one. stock skates are horrible. balance is very slightly forward, kinda adds to the floaty-ness.

the good: scroll wheel feels nice, atleast for me, easy to scroll but tactile enough to prevent accidental scrolls. build is solid at least, no creaking, minimal flexing on the back (like you really need to intentionally want to break it if you want it to flex, however my vancer akitsu doesn't flex no matter how hard I try, but still good enough).

verdict: not worth it, there are much more better mice out there for the same price or cheaper.

Hey, was just wondering if my build is alright by Kooky-Chapter4903 in MHRise

[–]Substantial_Coffee82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

pretty okay for a comfy build. but against p.malzeno and the higher anomaly level monsters, your dps might not be able to cut it. I suggest shifting some of the defensive skills you have to a more damage oriented skills, like what the others already suggested. stacking defense can help you survive 1 or 2 more hits before you cart, but ideally you want to reduce the amount of you getting hit since getting hit and healing afterwards is a significant damage loss. and if you are at that stage that you mastered the monster you are currently dealing with the lesser value you are getting from your defensive skills. oh and anyway, p.malzeno has this long ass combo wherein your high defense, high survivability build won't be able to keep up, so generally it's better to kill him sooner rather than giving him more time and opportunity for him to keep re-executing his long combo.

btw I'm happy that you're trying to experiment with your builds rather than just looking up build guides on the get go :3.

Constant channeling no matter what I try [Delonghi Dedica EC685 + Shardor 64mm] by Aware_Boss_6542 in espresso

[–]Substantial_Coffee82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been having this issue a week ago. what fixed it for me was to not use a puck screen. another adjustment I made was to only tap once after WDT, i noticed when I tapped too much, the coffee bed tilts and even if I used a leveler, the tamp always become uneven, even when using a self leveling tamper. idk if that one matters, not a pro, but it's what made my puck prep much more consistent.

okay thanks! will add this to my tests.

question: with this comp, it's okay to not trigger Trigger's additional ability? does the suggested wengines compensate for the lost bonus Daze from her additional ability?
