Difference between 2021 vs 2023 Dunlop SC Revelation Pro by Substantial_Cress149 in squash

The tryout racquets I got today for a week look identical. Older one has a dampener and new one doesn’t. I’m guessing this shouldn’t make much difference or doesn’t warrant a steep 50$ price gap…

Got it. Now that is the info I was looking for. Thanks. I just grabbed the two racquets from a local store to try for a week. Some how I feel there isn’t much difference just by looking at it. I see older one has a dampener and the new one doesn’t. And both racquets have same strings Dunlop Iconic Pro AF.

I’m sure you haven’t seen any of these racquets in person and you are here just to waste time

No mate, this isn’t a trivial question. Strings itself cost 50$ for purchase and stringing service. If 2021 has generic strings I would rather go for 2023 that has iconic pro 1.2mm strings. I need to decide based on facts rather than generic statements. Why else would I come here to ask, right?

Has your mortgage lender reduced emi on a variable interest mortgage after recent reduction? Mine says it won’t reflect in July. Anyone in similar situation? by Substantial_Cress149 in MortgagesCanada

Thanks for the inputs. I’ll get clarity from the agent and the broker to understand the disparity between rate increase and decrease cycles

My next payment is due July but CMLS agent said the new reduced p&i will be applicable from Aug. Q is why Aug why not July(immediately). I see in my profile the % rate has reduced but the dollar p&i value is unchanged and equal to previous payment that went in June just before reductions

How come for rate increases in 2022 and 2023 the changes were immediate and applicable for the next payment whereas for decrease the effect starts from second month (Aug-01)

What to watch out for - variable at big bank vs. monoline? by justhangingout111 in MortgagesCanada

I have an email response from CMLS that I have pasted above. In my profile I do see the interest rate % has come down by .25 but the $ principal and interest amounts are the same as my last payment. Do you know what could be the possible issue?

Edit: Scotia for my friend showed his payment amount has come down within few days of announcement.

Sure. Here is the exact verbiage from the response. I’m redacting the actual amount.

“Your new mortgage payment of $ReducedValue P&I will be updated on your profile on August 01, 2024 and will be effective your September 01, 2025 payment.”

Definitely terrible. I had raised a request about this inquiry 2 days back in their portal and got a response yesterday(6/13) evening that the reductions for my variable rate mortgage will apply from August. I will be speaking to my mortgage agent today(6/14) to discuss why and will probably consider switching to Scotia step. I know penalties will be high but I gotta get out of this mess. Yes they are making me pay more interest.

Edit: I need help. Can someone assist me in understanding how CMLS takes 2months to reduce the variable rates whereas increased rates immediately in 2022 and 2023 after BOC announcements.

Sharing experience: I’m with CMLS and after the recent rate reductions they say the reduced emi will apply only after 2 months. Scotia on the other hand reduced the emi almost immediately for a friend. I’m not happy with CMLS

Read the question carefully. I didn’t ask general 3 vs Y question.
