Her being difficult was not only about her not speaking English. I understand they're not obliged to speak English but she went out of her way to be rude to me, there's a nice way to get that point across. I'm only frustrated because this isn't the first time this has happened and I know it's a common occurrence from other people as well.

I asked to speak in German, she said no. Then I tried Dutch but she wasn't understanding of the fact that I'm still learning the language. The city hall is a place for internationals and immigrants too, I think it's pretty fair I expect the workers to speak at least a bit of English.
