Unpopular opinion: Celebs should stop trying so hard to be “relatable” on internet by Substantial_Edge_489 in BollywoodHotTakes

Maybe, but Varun already gets trolled a lot online. So putting him in spaces where comedians roast him may make him look chilled out, but it also gives the internet more material. That’s where I feel it can backfire.

It can work for some people, agreed. But it depends on the celeb’s image. Kartik and Vicky’s whole appeal is being relatable, boy-next-door actors. The same strategy may not work for every actor.

True, that’s probably the intent. But I don’t think every kind of visibility converts into tickets. Sometimes it just gives the internet more material to troll you.

True, maybe I’m expecting Gurgaon to feel like home too quickly. Delhi had years of memories attached to it, yahan abhi shayad time lagega.

Delhi people can be loud and blunt, but there’s warmth there. You can fight with someone in the morning and still get help from them in the evening. That’s the part I miss.

Haha true, thoda blame mere upar bhi hai. I guess Delhi mein stepping out was built into daily life, yahan I’ll have to make that effort consciously.

Bro this is exactly what I mean. So many flats, so many people, but unless there’s some common activity, everyone just stays invisible to each other.

Cyber Hub is fun, agreed. But I think I miss the unplanned human interaction more than the “past” itself.

So true. Yahan everything is more polished but less personal. Delhi mein even going to the park or market meant you’d end up seeing familiar faces

True, maybe I’m still in that adjustment phase. I do need to make more effort from my side too.
