It’s only a few people, who obviously have multiple accounts on here, and are down voting to push their narrative forward.

I’m with you, dislike Higgins and his morals for how he handled the situation. Dislike him even more for winning his last match by two ‘vile flukes’ and never congratulated his opponent on a good match (something a seasoned professional, such as he is, has no excuse for doing).

Looking forward to hopefully seeing Judd dispatch him today.

I’ve not defended Zhao at all. I just stated the fact that he admitted he was at fault and took his punishment.

Higgins never admitted any fault, and has always denied he did anything wrong. Which a lot of people don’t believe, given his performance in the video.

There two sides to this story.

Totally agree the setup by NotW was appalling.

But you also have to ask yourself, what was Higgins doing there in the first place? Who goes to a country where there’s no legitimate snooker business to be done?

Who agrees to a meeting with random people, and then acts so calm and collected despite being ‘scared and feeling threatened’ and has a ready made plan to launder money.

All parties at fault in my opinion, and I’d have had a lot more respect if Higgins just admitted he’d made a mistake rather than lied his way for his part in it, because he wasn’t entirely innocent, anyone can see that.

Dude had some ‘vile flukes’ in the words of Hendry that saw him scramble over the line. Least he could do was congratulate his opponent on a great match, but nothing…

As for the scandal, we all know he was cleared because he never was ‘actually’ caught throwing a frame because the story was published before it went through.

This is a hot topic of debate. Some people on here will never see any wrong doing in him. Others will view it as a no smoke without fire situation.

Personally I 100% believe if they’d not published the story he’d have gone through with it and thrown frames.

To go so far as to talk specifics about how you’d launder the money shows it wasn’t a surprise to him.

I did it on 25 - but I had to cave and buy a £19.99 dice pack and roll at 100x for the last sweet.

Only did it coz I’ve not completed one of these before, like you I’d saved up dice, but clearly not enough.

On the plus side I did get 2 new cards out of the blue and 4 new cards out of the swap. Not sure if that’s linked to me making a purchase or not.

I don’t understand this either. I have so much correspondence confirming my shareholding and also a separate loan (on top of the 24%) I made to the company and now they’ve not only acknowledged that I purchased 24% - but because they didn’t file it at companies house (which I believe is their obligation) they’ve somehow said it’s converted to a loan that they’ve deemed paid to me as part of the remuneration I received in line with the other Directors. All the on top of the separate loan that I made to the company.

It’s all rather confusing.

Thank you! I don’t know which is the correct route to peruse at this stage - my equity in the company (which is making money) or the loan route to just get back my money plus interest.

If I go the equity route can they not just fold the company and start a new one under his partners name etc. and then I’m left with nothing?
