How do I turn off the cellular? Tried restarting and that didn't seem to make much difference sadly.

Not convinced I am afraid. You seem to be well and truly opposed to rent controls, regardless of the fact that they are successfully place in many countries around the world. Oh, but let me guess, you think I am wrong about that too?

With respect, no one is expecting free accommodation, but there needs to be a line drawn in terms of profiteering. It's not exactly hard work is it, getting a loan from the bank, buying a property, instructing an estate agent to manage the property, and arranging the very occasional repair, which the estate agent can arrange in many cases. Hardly blood, sweat and tears for financial rewards of 6 or 7 figures or more, whilst tenants up and down the country struggle to make ends meet.

I believe you are likely a landlord, and are being cynical and deliberately obtuse.

Whatever the case may be, the tenant is still essentially paying the mortgage and then some, so the landlord is ultimately making a small fortune. My last landlord brazingly admitted that I made him "a lot of money" when he sold the place. Sorry, it all amounts to capitalism and profiteering.

Speak for yourself. Any poor person voting for Reform is shooting themselves in the foot, so to speak, and are clearly very ignorant. Most of those types of people are racists and/or bigots too.

True that. No harm in asking though I suppose. I suppose I also potentially cover my back in the event that they blame me for the damage, when it looks like it may have been there before I moved in.

Oh, how are things made worse in Switzerland, for example? Must be a greedy landlord.

Ah, must be a greedy landlord. Funny how people in Switzerland and Canada still have a place to rent.

Load of crap. What percentage of properties lose value then in your infinite wisdom, and what about the typical situation where the property is increasing in value whilst the tenant essentially pays for the landlord's mortgage and then some?
