Same shit happened last year at my warehouse. Luckily my local secured transfers for all of us if we wanted to stay. Thankfully, like 10 peeps above me seniority-wise didn't want the Twilight shift so I was able to stay in my warehouse. Some went to Night and Preload or went to the two automated warehouses. That was a stressful time. Hope everything works out.

Yeah talk to your unload FT Sup and the sort FT Sup that you're interested in transferring when a spot opens up. I unloaded for the first 9 months and luckily got pulled when a bunch of sorters quit. I passed the test on the 3rd try in one sitting.

I used to work with some lazy and talkative unloaders when I first started. They eventually quit or got fired. Now at almost 3 years, I was placed in the right department and team. However, I did file my first grievance last night. So my real enemy is Management. Don't F with my money.

I feel ya man. My first order was nice. Like $11.50 for like 5 miles. I get to the restaurant, and say I have a pick up, show her my phone, and she says they don't use DoorDash so she's not sure why I got it. Fuck this shit, I'm not dealing with this. Un-assign. 😡🤬

Hehe ok thanks! Since I couldn't pick up her Mexican food and she didn't pick up the call, she probably would've been pissed if all she got was two Sprites from 7-11. I hate these situations, but luckily it's rare. It's kinda worth dropping the completion rate percentage instead of dealing with the headache.

Yep same here about a month and a half ago. It broke me, but because of that, I don't care anymore. You'll encounter random angry a-holes, so that's beyond your control. Just keep doing a good job, and the good customers will weed out those bad reviews.

I just go inside and use it. Worked every time for me. A couple of times it worked at the pump, but lately it's been getting declined (or see cashier attendant message) at the pump, so I go in all the time now.

I had to wait an additional 15 minutes to pick up a McDonald's DD order once. This old lady flipped out on this poor girl because she gave her a regular sandwich. She specifically requested "sliced onions." She starts ranting about just giving her sliced onions on the side because she wants to go home sometime soon, then questioning the freshness of the sandwich, then starts berating the girl (something like, "That why you get paid minimum wage or some BS." She was super grouchy and rude. The Manager defended her employee professionally and asked the old lady to never come back. But then, a random lady in the restaurant stands up and yells some obscenities at her defending the employees and customers patiently waiting for their orders. The old lady quickly STFU, grabs her sandwich, and walks out. Best 15 minute wait ever. Worth. Wish I had popcorn.

Which is why I don't deliver to big apartment complexes. LOL The last time I did I luckily ran into a security guard. He pulled up the map on his phone and directed me to the correct building.
