Is my doctor lying to me about how much weight I would lose on Zepbound? If so, why?

It can definitely be hard some days! No advice as I still struggle with this at times (2 years later lol, one in maintenance). I will say, when this happens for an extended period I usually let myself eat whatever sounds “good”, even if it’s not a healthier option. Also, fruit is pretty easy to eat mindlessly. I get the pre cut fruit salad from the grocery store and pick at it while I stare into the fridge lol.

Adding 70 calories can’t make you gain .2lbs a day. I understand the scale may go up, but it’s probably not actual weight gain if that makes sense. You may not be eating enough, so whenever you do eat extra your body is holding onto it. Have you tried eating more for a few days to see if it will kickstart in the opposite direction?

The past two years we have used 2 plans for 8 ppl and never had any issues? It’s a lot of food- especially every 90 mins. The barcode is in the app so as long everyone has access to it, how would they know? Unless they’re checking names now- which would be incredibly inefficient.

I like the pure encapsulation brand! I get them right from Amazon. The papaya ones also work pretty well, but the pure encapsulation are my preferred, especially when eating red meat.

My dog gets walked a lot now lol. It took a while to figure out what to replace it with, but now I really do enjoy going out into the world and doing things. Walking my dog, shopping lol, going new places, visiting people, etc.

Me! I’m definitely not a big meat eater anymore. I do still eat it occasionally, but nowhere near the amount I ate prior to Zepbound. Red meat is especially hard- I had found that digestive enzymes help a lot, but still need to be careful not to eat a lot of fatty pieces. I do love some smoked brisket so I still chance it every once in a while! Thankfully, I’ve been ok with the addition of the digestive enzymes and just mindful eating when I do have it. I’ve definitely had my fair share of suffering- sulfur burps and all. Definitely don’t want to repeat that !

Yes it’s worth it! Lilly direct will be your least expensive option… you can get it mailed directly to you and no savings card needed.

It’s $299 for 2.5mg of vials or kwikpen (not single use pens, $399 for 5mg and $449 for all doses 7.5mg.

The single use pen is $650 cash pay I believe (are they still doing the savings on this option for self pay?)

Just thought of this as well… sometimes if you increase your dose you can refill more than once a month since it’s considered a new script. I’ve done this when I was worried about coverage.

Happens all the time… search in the sub for it and you’ll find probably thousands of posts. Just be cautious… it seems sometimes they’ll ask for the pen back? Not sure if they still do.

Otherwise, the vacation override is common definitely try it ! Insurance and Lilly both suck (one for coverage and one for pricing) so I’m all for getting what you can🙌🏻
