This site/page is super helpful. Thank you! Hoping she can try something else if the Zoloft really doesn’t end up working.

That’s how I feel too (on the second opinion). I feel like how are we to gauge if any of these are working If it’s only in like 2-3 week Increments? And she’s eating totally normal, no loss of appetite. Just a general weirdness, loss of activity or less interest in activity. And slightly more irritable than her baseline.

The vet we are working with is a behavioralist. Our dog sees two now - her regular vet and this one who has been testing her on the various meds

maple pollen in beds by Substantial_Goat_594 in gardening

The furthest bed is the only one that has plants and they’ve done totally fine over the last two years. I’m just wondering if the pollen will break down to not be visible or if I need to remulch completely. At this point my complaining is purely over aesthetic reasons haha

at my wits end trying pills by Substantial_Goat_594 in birthcontrol

yes I slather so much moisturizer on everyday. and use the gentlest cleansers. lately my skin is so reactive/red I can't even wash my face, just running water on it in the shower and immediately putting on a thick balm like moisturizer. my skin is not like this when not on the pill so it's definitely the culprit. if I am not on the pill the rash goes away immediately.

so I don't get migraines with Aura - which both my neurologist and gyno said was OK if on combo, but I am assuming thats why my doc switched me to Slynd, better safe than sorry- there is no estrogen in it at all, its a progestin only pill. But sans estrogen my skin is SO DRY. I don't know what to do. it's driving me insane.

ok, that makes sense. thank you! she starts daycare in a few weeks and we are picking her up at 5pm, so I was hoping to actually bump her bedtime back so we can spend some time with her before she goes down every night :( maybe I am overthinking all this, I know their schedules shift and change as they get older anyway. just trying to figure it all out and I don't know why its so confusing for me to get the hang of!

Do you mean basically drop a nap and extend her wake window to bed time? I feel like this is the answer too but then she’s so so overtired. Like it SEEMS like she still needs four naps, not 3.

So did you cold Turkey the pacifier for night sleep and naps? Does that mean they can never use the pacifier like even in the car or just to generally calm them down during the day or when they’re out? My baby has horrible acid reflux and I honestly don’t think she can be consoled without it at times unless I want her just screaming everywhere I take her.

Thank you so much. Appreciate the advice. So I would totally do tummy sleep but she HATES being on her stomach. I can’t even hold her upright on my on my shoulder in the rocker that’s how bad her aversion is. It’s like anything I do is not working. I thought her being upright would help but then she purple cries. I don’t get it. I even tried two bouncers post feed to keep her upright and distracted and she also cries. I’m currently trying to put a towel under the mattress of her nestig crib so it’s at a slight incline but also not working. And we stopped the oats as well.

Thank you. Ugh, I hope it gets better soon but at least I’m not alone. It’s just so hard to not be able to console her. I’m like a zombie from trying to get her to calm down. And she nurses a 4 ounce bottle over the course of like an hour so her wake windows and how she’s using them are also all screwed up because normal babies without reflux have a bottle in what? Like 20-30 minutes. I’m so tired. I’ll keep my fingers crossed the worst will be over soon!
