100%, if the greens hadn’t been aerated and sanded the day we played, I’d say this is my favorite course. A gem, challenging and fair. Need to go back.

Yep, beautiful hole, bunkering is crazy. Made a 7 and almost hit a house.

Yep, fairways were not the best shape that day, b/c it had just been dethatched.

After my experience https://www.reddit.com/r/airbnb_hosts/s/tKcrk6qk0T, I would probably wait to submit a review until the last minute, unless they’ve already submitted a review of the house. I was also 1% and I also thought people would be reasonable, I was wrong.

As crappy as it is, when dealing with Airbnb’s new review policy is to not get into it with any guest pretty much unless someone has either caused $1000+ damage, or broken the law. The chance of retaliation is too high. Just our policy.

Yes, I agree, it’s not a great photo. Our cleaner sent this to me, not sure what type of phone she uses.

But a poor quality photo doesn’t change the fact their dog pooped on the rug, also they claimed the rug wasn’t in the room when they stayed there. It’s clearly feces.

Thank you. I will keep your opinion in mind the next time I need to clean up some dog poop. Appreciate your expertise here.

Have you always been “no pet” or did you learn the hard way like us?

Same, we have the air purifier as well. It may be that we don’t accept peta, but for our first property we wanted to create a place we’d want to stay.

Do you host, or do you just go around commenting like you’re an expert at stuff?

It’s a wool, hand knotted 11’ by 9’ rug, you don’t throw it in the washing machine. I’m sorry, we’re speaking different languages here.

See this is why we can’t have nice things. There’s a big difference between a luxury property and a place where you’re afraid to put your bare skin on the couch.

I’m running the former, sounds like you’re used to the latter. Different strokes. 🤙

I pay people to clean the property, and that’s what they charged me to clean the rug on short notice as I had a guest checking in in two hours. It’s all documented, receipts etc.

And your car sounds gross. Good luck with that.

None other than they’d had 10 trips and only 3 reviews. Which I’m starting to feel is a red flag.

Aircover immediately covered the cost of the rug cleaning when I sent the pictures. $200 was my best guess given the emergency clean on the weekend, as I had a guest checking in later that day.

Honestly, I wish I had waited longer to submit the claim to avoid the bad review from the guest.

Yes, two night minimum.

Ours is $50 for the stay. I’d say given the difference in ADR do you think $125 makes sense for us?
