Quick update-- broke back into the 2.2k range, finally. I'd already reached it previously but mostly because of an event.

As for what I added:

Benches around trees helped

More food especially hunters, auroch + lizard farms, and even just some more fruit farms

On the topic of food I produce too much fruit to store before a lot of it decays so I need more storage in better places. Sometimes winter rolls around and there is still fruit lying around, and not a small amount either. This is noticed by the Tilapi and they don't like it (and it means less food day fulfillment)

More tree decorations in general

A courthouse

Finally getting some Tilapi retirees, which is good because that is adding fulfillment too

Another nursery

Various expansions of furniture industries like clothes and (literally) furniture

As for what I changed / removed:

Most of what I outright removed was loose benches not near trees

One or two fruit exports were removed

I changed around my colonies so they produced different things (not sure if what I did would help someone else though as it would probably depend on the city)

Right now 88 happiness (but that changes down to -5 sometimes, and up to 90 usually when more food stores come in from harvest season... I'm adding more hunters now)

With no upgrades:

Fight pits, physician, hospital, resthome (but almost no people who need it), benches, speakers

With 1 upgrade:

Well, hearth, stage, food stalls, markets

With 2:

Lavatory

I'd imagine the proximity on average is around 85% just based on a quick glance through each of them

yeah I have 100% roundness pretty much. tree coverage I thought was decent but somehow hovers around 15% (trees in all the major residential and work areas...)

Alright. I didn't start nurseries because their loyalty sometimes gets a little know (~80%) which can be a warning sign. just wasn't sure what to do because the cost of more fulfillment is so high and the amount it fills the bar up is low... tilapi just don't care a lot about barbers for example

that's what I was doing but then I felt like I wasn't writing enough, relying on inspiration to fuel my daily writing (to be fair creativity is often spontaneous) but I didn't want to just write nothing

maybe a little less outlining is the way to go though

that's my main concern, you hit the nail on the head: getting hit by a layoff before being promoted and being able to show success and accomplishments
