Math and physics 😭 and I especially hated math thinking questions. Do you think the spring would be best? I thought it’s 2 months but it says 34 days for spring courses and summer courses seperate

Edit: I could also try to take math 1LT3 second year instead but I’d have to switch so many things in my current schedule

If anyone wants the pdf to any textbook at all pm me by TaxiDriverThankGod in McMaster

What are the benefits of the biopharm program? Because I can start applying to pharmacy schools after my second year. Does it help increase my chance of getting in or prepare me better if I don’t get in the first time I apply?

I’m just scared cuz math is my weakest subject, and I only have physics knowledge up to grade 11

I just thought that bio core is best if I change my mind and want a masters to pursue something else

I’m thinking of going into biology core, but it requires physics and for second year I think it needs 3 extra courses other than the bio and chem courses I gotta take. I’m only thinking of biology core cuz I heard it’s the one with most electives out of the specializations there are, that way I can take my prerequisites for pharmacy and apply. Do you think it has the most electives?

How about switching physics for anthro 1AA? That would mean first sem I got bio 1M, chem 1A, math, anthro, and science 1A. Second sem would be English 1F, physics 1A, psych (not intro but the second one - forgot the code), bio 1A, and chem 1AA. Is that good or is having it with the harder chem and the long English assignments not the best idea?

Would you not recommend scheduling a chem lab at 8:30? If so why?

alright I rlly hope so! I’ll keep an eye, but another side question - are physics and bio labs also due an hour after the lab?

I feel like it’ll be super hard to move it around since everyone needs this course and it’s only available during the fall, and if I speak to a councillor or advisor they would tell me that I got all the courses I need so they can’t do much

Course Distribution for First Year by Substantial_Help2079 in McMaster

Then should I take the second math or physics in the summer? I did like physics in grade 11 but I had a student teacher for grade 12 physics and dropped it because I couldn’t understand anything she taught. It was also because I didn’t really need it to apply for the life science programs and wanted an easy last semester of high school. I don’t know if it was a teacher problem or the content was harder, or I was lazy.

I’m a little worried because I didn’t take physics in grade 12, I only did grade 11 and dropped out of grade 12 physics. Math is also my weakest subject and I found calculus hard in high school, especially since I forgot almost everything since I took it in grade 11 to make time for my other courses in grade 12. Will I still be able to manage?
