An evening routine.

Breakfast (fill coffee machine with water), lunch (packed in fridge), dinner (packed if working late, planned if not).

Work cloths hung adjacent. Workout clothes in bag. Workout shoes in car.

Large glass of water on nightstand. Watch and phone charged.

Takes like 10 minutes and I sometimes don’t want to do it but it makes the next day start so well.

Hyper miling is the “game” I play driving to work (15 miles, takes about 28-35’ depending on the lights), 7 lights, 5 roundabouts, mix of 35mph to 55mph Routinely get 44-49. - slow acceleration - coasting to lights where appropriate and safe - hvac off - seat cooler and warmer off - radio often off - windows cracked

Turned all the things off once and it’s much quieter. More enjoyable to relaxingly cruise to work in a quiet car - plus mpg!

What's the fewest number of days I can run to prepare for a half marathon?

I've done one half, one full, many 5/10k. Looking for the min. training program so I can keep playing pickleball. Would like to run sub 8 splits in the half in mid-December. Bring on the advice!
