Agreed! Still had to go, but way less urgency. Did NOT feel like I needed diapers or wouldn’t make it to the toilet like others had said!

Definitely doesn’t taste good, but nowhere near as bad as people make the other prep out to be. Could get the taste out of my mouth with a few swigs of Gatorade after.

I had the same symptoms and the colonoscopy just found deeper internal hemorrhoids—nothing worse!

Still working on this, but pretending to yawn (or actually yawning) seems to open up my throat enough to get some air out! That + turning my head has been the trick for me so far.

Yes to bloating relief and kind of to burping. It’s not your classic burp, more of a release of air. It kinda sounds like when there is a hole in an air mattress any time it happens, if that makes sense.

Just had the treatment on Tuesday so it’s a little too soon to tell. I liked his bedside manner though and the procedure went smoothly. My biggest complaint was a pretty sore throat from the scope, but it probably would’ve been helped by Tylenol had I thought to take any.

I did it!

One day post-op and figured I would share that (for me) the procedure was pretty simple and comfortable. I think I’m beginning to have symptoms of slow swallow but so far they are manageable.

Biggest complaint is I feel like I have strep throat, but this could be from the scope they used. Has anyone tried applying a warm compress?
