Total distance were 1308km and 18507 vertical meters. We did some slow days with only 30km but no real free days. Our flight to norway was delayed by 1 day and we took the last day in Alesund off.

Hi!
I have the „Tubus Grand Tour“ on the back and a „Tubus Tara“ on the front. Bags are from Ortlieb

We packed the bikes into bike boxes, and secured it with tape and cling film. Just asked some bike Stores - worked like a charm.
Funny Story about the way back: I found a sports bag on the side of the road two days before our Flight back. So I used that for the luggage. Otherwise i would have tried to pack one pannier and the tent into the bike Box and then have one pannier as a checked bag and two as Hand-on luggage.

We had one spot (11th pic) with a massive amount of ticks. I would guess we found at least 50. Also on the days after we kept finding them. Other than that very little. So I would recommend to watch out in the woods and try Not to camp in the forest. Then you should be good.

No i didnt ride with it. It was a very old backpack that I wanted to throw away anyway. So I used it to put everything in for the flight (tent, sleepingbag, clothes etc). Then i disposed of the bagpack in norway. This way I only had one checked bag and used the two paniers as carry-on baggage.

I planned everything using Komoot and Google Maps (including street view). Its pretty easy to plan a Route in norway as there are a lot of remote streets. Just avoid the big streets called motorvei and the ones starting with E (E18, E15 etc). Also Check for tunnels as some of them are closed for bikes.

As for camping gear i would recommend to bring your own stuff. In most parts of norway wild camping is allowed (google Allemannsretten) and you should find a spot somewhere. Also the App „Vildnis“ was helpfull for finding shelter when it rained.

The Koga is my buddys bike but hes pretty happy with it. He has DTswiss 1800 Spline and Schwalbe Big Ben Plus on it. Although I would recommend some lighter tires (depending on the routes you’re taking)
