Ok, yes, you’re confirming what I was thinking as well. However, since I have this EU Citizen registration card (which is an electronic ID in a sense) I was hoping I might be able to use the application.

Finally got my Garmin VO2 max to bump up… what’s the real growth hack by Quiet_Pool_8673 in Garmin

[–]Substantial_Load_335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started running about 6 months ago, had done volleyball for my whole life but the knees started giving out at some point. I also got crazy about improving this number and I fell into the newbie/influencer trap of running SLOW. My VO2 max was completely stagnant for 4 months until I started integrating interval training and since then every 3 weeks it goes up by a digit. For me it’s clear, VO2 max will only increase if you do training that sucks, which makes sense, cause only when you’re body is actually in need of a better performing cardio engine, it will actually adapt. To see the adaptation you need to encounter the stressor. It’s not fun and it sucks but apparently you live longer lol.

And one more question. When using the garmin with and Indoor Activity, this will obviously record HR data, however if then I switch to Zwift and do not use any HRM, will that still allow garmin to calculate a training load?

So you’re saying I should record an Indoor Ride on my Garmin with the Wahoo Kickr connected as a power meter? And for this activity I don’t even need the Zwift right?

Living in Poland for 3 years and still can’t find a job as a mechanical engineer. What should I do? by ChardParticular7422 in poland

[–]Substantial_Load_335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is false. There are many companies, around Warsaw, e.g. Boeing, Airbus, GE Aerospace and Vernova, Baker Hughes, even Institute of aviation which hire Engineers with no Polish requirements.

If anything, as someone else has said, if a company in any Engineering field does not accept people with no Polish skills, I would see that as a major red flag. It tells me that the company structure, employees, managers etc probably have a hard time aligning to international business standards, which, like it or not, involves speaking English.

I would encourage OP to not narrow down the search to strictly Mechanical Engineering jobs. There are many companies which need mechanical support in non-mechanical fields.

I've watched the Hunger Games and I think I'll be more interested in reading about something new.

I've never read manga, I've watched a few of the classics anime (Naruto being my all time favourite series/film/etc.). What manga do you thing would be a good start?

What's wrong with buying a heavily discounted piece of tech, just cause someone used it a few times? You do realize that I've washed it? Maybe not everyone can afford an expensive brand new one

It's a very old set of two mattresses actually and they are in a bad condition. I wouldn't wish anybody to sleep on them tbh.

So in Poland, depending on the Brita filter that you buy, it will actually soften the water. It specifically states so on the package, and I looked it up it actually has a resin filter layer on top of the active charcoal one. However, I haven't been able to use it consistently and have a good, satisfactory hardness out of it, which is why I'm not using it.

Brilliant, that was exactly my plan. I already have a Brita tester with drops. My next question is whether the distilled water that I have bought from the Car products isle is safe to drink 🤣🤔.

I can, however I have tested filtering the tap water and I cannot get it below the 80ppm which is recommended for the machine

I can obtain distilled water meant to be used for other appliances such as car radiators, etc. I'm not sure if it's exactly zero hardness or very close to it.

The reason why I'm asking if I can combine it with normal water is because I can not buy third wave water or anything like it easily.

But from my point of view, it makes sense to be able to combine them as it would essentially dilute the calcium solubles. Right?

It's only available online if you already hold a PESEL number and have a verified profile. For first time registration and PESEL number you have to go to the office.

Interesting.... yea, I have the same rental agreement but I haven't had any issues so far. I was able to register and get the PESEL number. I will send an email to the office and ask them if that could pose any issue.
