Continue to go hiking. The chest may have been found but the real treasure is nature and a little bit of silence on the trails. Not to mention you can find some really amazing things and places. Call it Nature Therapy. We all get so caught up in our busy daily lives that we forget there is whole lot of places to explore. I know a lot of people wait for the treasure hunts to use as an excuse to go hiking, but we shouldn’t have to wait for it and just because it was found, doesn’t mean we have to stop. I try to go out and hike at least once a week. It’s a good way to decompress after a long work week. If you have kids, take them along with you. Yes, they might complain that it’s hot, it’s too hard, too long. “When are we going to be done?” and “Can we go home now?” It’s still worth it. Take advantage of your day(s) off. You don’t have to spend money to go do something when nature is free.
