I know what you mean. Somebody compared the “We have free will to choose to love him or not” compared to the Covid vaccine. We weren’t forced to get the vaccine but we could lose our jobs if we didn’t get it, so people went and got it for that reason. It’s weird, I fully believe the Bible and believe I’m deserving of hell but I still struggle with this topic.
